How I helped my mother

Every year on my mother’s birthday there are a lot of guests who rush to congratulate her. Some even come from other cities, because my mother is the best in the world!
This year, dad said that we would surprise mom and cook the holiday dinner ourselves. The day before I was very worried and set the alarm for five in the morning so that I could do everything in time. When the alarm clock rang, I jumped out of bed and started cleaning. I carefully dusted the whole house, watered the flowers, and put my room in order. Then he filled a bucket with water and began to wash the floors.
When mom woke up, delight lit up her face with radiant purity. Dad held a huge bouquet in his hands and smiled. We sent mom to the beauty salon to prepare a festive dinner for her arrival. As soon as the door closed behind her, Dad and I put the chicken in the oven, quickly chopped up the salad and started baking the chocolate cake.
When mom arrived, the house was sparkling clean, the windows were sparkling, the table was set and the whole house was decorated with balloons. That day I never saw any guests, because by the time they arrived I had fallen into a peaceful sleep from fatigue. The next day I woke up to my mother's kiss. I opened my eyes and saw that my mother had been sitting on my bed for a long time and was waiting for me to get up. She smiled and held out a huge teddy bear. Then she kissed me again and said: “Thank you, my dear, I couldn’t have done it without you.”

Analyzing the current state of social life, I consider the most important thing in my work to be the cultivation of kindness in children. Children's souls are so lacking in mercy these days.

I want the kids to grow up responsive, to be able to enjoy the successes of their comrades, to cope with their failures with dignity and to be close to those who need help.

Some people believe that these qualities should develop on their own, due to the fact that we live in a country where humanity is an important principle.

But our everyday life convincingly shows: without specially organized education, without people who master the methods of such education, we cannot cope with this task.

It is impossible to cultivate feelings of kindness, responsiveness, and compassion in a child without an integrated approach to each individual.

Pedagogy offers us a lot of reasonable advice, but a complete scientifically based and methodologically developed system for the formation of moral qualities still does not exist.

Moral education is one of the areas of my work. I believe that I am making my modest contribution to the formation of moral qualities of students.

Goals:

1) expand students’ knowledge about goodness and its application in life situations;

2) formation of kindness and mercy in students;

3) to awaken in children a sensitive, caring attitude towards others, to develop the ability to “put themselves in the position of other people”, to better understand their feelings and motives of behavior.

Preparatory work:

select and learn proverbs about goodness and kindness;

learn poems about goodness.

Decor.

1. Poster depicting a bright sun with the words of V. Hugo “In the inner world of man, kindness is the sun”

2. Statements of Russian writers about kindness:

Doing good for people means making yourself look good.

(L. Tatyanicheva)

By trying for the happiness of others, we find our own happiness.

True kindness lies in treating people kindly.

(J. J. Rousseau)

To appreciate kindness in a person, you need to have a certain amount of this quality in yourself.

(W. Shakespeare)

The smarter and kinder a person is, the more he notices goodness in people.

(B. Pascal)

Kindness. This is the quality that I desire to acquire more than all others.

Progress of the lesson.

Hello, dear children and dear adults! Today you will become participants in the conversation “Life is given for good deeds.”

Epigraph Our communication will include the following lines:

“Do not dry up the holy source of goodness,

Do not dry up now and forever,

So that the time for the ax does not come,

So that man remains in man.”

I think you all understand that our conversation will be about such human qualities as kindness, good-heartedness - after all, they are inseparable.

Guys, tell me, how is the word “kindness” formed? What does it mean?

Good-heartedness- spiritual sensitivity, responsiveness of the soul, disposition towards people, affection, participation, goodwill - they are based on the desire for good to another (according to the dictionary).

Kind-hearted man- has a kind heart, affectionate, sympathetic. A kind, benevolent person knows how to communicate and maintain good relationships with people.

A kind-hearted (kind) person always speaks politely to his interlocutor.

You and I are also interlocutors. And the interlocutors communicate. And in order for us to be comfortable and pleasant to communicate, I will ask you to help me create an atmosphere of warmth and goodwill.

Ethical charge of kindness

(the exercise is performed in a circle)

I ask the children to rub their palms, and then with their left hand (the side of the heart) to transfer a particle of their warmth to the neighbor on the left.

Now to the neighbor on the left

Shake hands boldly

Wink to the one on the right

Don't be shy!

Look,

He smiles back.

Guys, your looks and smiles made me feel very warm. They say that if a person has kindness, humanity, benevolence, it means that he has succeeded as a person.

Remember that kindness and mercy have been developed by humanity over the centuries in order to make it easier for everyone to live, to communicate with each other, so that this communication brings joy. Each of us should live like this!

Guys, think about it What is the definition of philanthropy?

Humanity is:

caring attitude towards children;

sensitive attitude towards the elderly;

desire to help people in misfortune, etc.

Can we always do what we said? Sometimes we do not have the opportunity to help, but we must strive for this (help in word, deed). It is gratifying that such forgotten concepts as “kindness”, “humanity”, “mercy”, “benevolence”, “attention to each other” are being revived. Nowadays, many organizations and individual citizens carry out acts of mercy (they take children and disabled people into families and take care of them).

Guys, I really want each of you to at least once discover in yourself Star of humanity.

A kind, benevolent person knows how to communicate and maintain good relationships with people.

A. Exupery wrote: “The greatest luxury is the luxury of human communication.”

When communicating with another person, show interest, attention to problems, concerns, and be sympathetic to his experiences. Guys, you rarely meet a person who has never quarreled with anyone in his life. In this regard, listen to useful advice.

Adviсe

1. Avoid conflicts, quarrels, and rash actions.

2. If a quarrel takes place, make up!

And now I would like to introduce you to the commandments (rules) by which a person should strive to live.

V.A. Sukhomlinsky wrote:“If good feelings are not cultivated in childhood, you will never cultivate them. In childhood, a person must go through a school of instilling good feelings.”

Human kindness, mercy, the ability to rejoice and worry about other people create the basis of human happiness.

Back in IV BC. The ancient Greek philosopher Plato talks about philanthropy, kindness, and human happiness. This idea has been developed by philosophers from different countries for many centuries.

Now listen to the fable of the ancient Greek fabulist Aesop

Sun and wind

The Sun and the Wind argued who was stronger, and the Wind said: “I will prove that I am stronger. Do you see the old man in the raincoat? I bet I can get him to take off his coat faster than you can.”
The sun hid behind a cloud, and the wind began to blow stronger and stronger until it almost turned into a hurricane.

But the harder he blew, the tighter the old man wrapped himself in his cloak. At last the Wind died down and ceased; and then the Sun peeked out from behind the clouds and smiled tenderly at the traveler. The traveler warmed up under the hot rays of the sun, became cheerful and took off his cloak. And the Sun told the Wind that kindness and friendliness are always stronger than rage and strength.

The ancient Greek fabulist Aesop was a slave at the court of King Croesus. He composed his immortal fables in the 16th century BC, but nevertheless, the truths about human nature that he taught remain just as true today. A benevolent and friendly approach in understanding people is more likely to bring benefits than rudeness, violence, and indignation.

Questions

What is the fable talking about? What is its meaning?

What principle of interaction with others do you adhere to? What results are you achieving?

Do you consider yourself a kind person? How does your kindness manifest itself?

How do people treat you? How do they respond to your kindness? Do you reciprocate their kindness?

Is it possible to learn kindness? How to do it?

Commandments of man

Do good.

Be afraid to offend a person.

Love and forgive people.

Treat others as you would like them to treat you. (golden rule of morality).

By helping others, you help yourself.

Nowadays people talk a lot about goodness and kindness. What is kindness? (Close your eyes and imagine what “kindness” means to you? Children’s answers).

Kindness is, first of all, the happiness of all people. The most valuable thing in life is kindness. Guys, what should we do so that there is no evil on earth, so that people do not torture each other, do not kill, so that everyone has a good time?

Answer options

Gather everyone who does evil and put them behind bars.

Get rid of evil people so that only good people remain on earth.

(Children's answers).

If good people decided to destroy the evil, they themselves would cease to be good, because they committed a terrible sin - they did evil. How can you separate the evil from the good? Every person can become both good and evil. Every person can improve; some saints were former sinners.

How to change? What should be done?

We need to get better!

And now I will try to show you this with one example from life.

(an excerpt about 2 women by T.V. Semevskaya is heard).

Remember!

If you want to destroy evil in others, try to be better yourself.

Destroying evil with evil is the same as pouring gasoline on a fire.

Guys, we have already said a lot about goodness and kindness.

How do you understand the proverb: “Do you get good people through goodness?”

What proverbs and sayings about goodness and kindness do you know?

(Children's answers).

In their best proverbs, the people conveyed their cherished rules of life. Continuing our conversation, I want to read to you the text of L.N.’s letter. Tolstoy to a seven-year-old boy Zakhar Shevtsov. He wrote:

“... I advise you, my boy, throughout your life, from this day until your death, to learn with all your might to be as kind as possible with everyone: with your nanny, with your dad, with your mother, with your brothers, with the janitor - with everyone with whom you can you get along.

This is not entirely easy; you have to learn it just like learning to read, write, play the piano or violin. Once you learn all those sciences, that’s the end, but there is no end to this science. And most importantly, there is no such joy from any sciences as from this one; As you continue to learn, you become more and more happy, and everyone around you loves you more and more.

Please do this. Remember every moment that you need to be kind.”

Be kind. Be able to see with kind eyes the joy or misfortune of another person. Respond to it with a kind heart. And help with a good deed.

Task 1 “What the eyes say”

Look at your desk neighbor. Try to determine what mood your friend is in, how he feels, what he is thinking about, what he is puzzled by. Exchange your observations and conclusions. Do they correspond to the actual state of the comrade?

Questions to Consider

(homework)

Cultivate kindness in yourself, starting with those close to you.

Look carefully at your mother, grandmother, father, grandfather. What do you see in their eyes: anxiety, peace, concern?

Think about how to help them, what can you do to cheer them up? How to express sympathy and understanding?

Take a closer look at your parents coming home from work. Ask about the past day, prepare or heat up dinner for their arrival, make them sit more comfortably, give them slippers, a newspaper, etc.

Color dictation

In order to complete this task, you need:

remember kind words (sun, life, love, mom, friend, smile etc.);

Color each word with the color with which you associate it.

Do the same with the words ( hatred, malice, enemy, hypocrisy etc.). Which of the resulting shades do you like best? Why?

Conclusion:

Both kind words and good deeds make a person feel calmer and more pleasant in his soul than from cruel, evil ones.

Task 2

Listen to K. Balmont’s poem and mentally draw a butterfly saved by the boy.

Butterfly

Questions:

What, in your opinion, does K. Balmont’s poem contribute to the understanding of kindness?

Why do children most often not wish harm to anyone? What happens to a person when he grows up? What is he forgetting?

Can adults learn kindness from children? What can we learn from children?

Have you ever encountered a defenseless, wounded creature? Were you able to do anything to ease his suffering? Describe the feelings you experienced in this situation.

Continuing the conversation, I want to ask you:

What kind of person does kindness make?

What kind of person can be kind?

What rules do you think must be followed to be kind?

Children's answers.

Charming, beautiful. A person who has kindness in his soul looks nice. He has an expression of joy and peace on his face and a sweet smile on his lips.

Only one who is always friendly to people, who thinks not only about himself, can be kind. A kind person always takes into account the interests of others.

Love people, encourage others to have warm relationships, do good for loved ones and friends.

Concluding our conversation with you, I really want you to show your nobility, kindness, and mercy in any situation.

Circle of goodness

Now join your hands and form a circle - circle of goodness. It seems to me that today you have all changed a little, become a little kinder.

Guys, I will ask each of you to “give” a verbal gift, a verbal prize, to your comrade on the left. This could be an object, a drawing, a poem, etc.

(Children join hands and explain why the award is being given. The teacher performs a song based on poetry by an unknown nun of the Novodevichy Convent).

Whatever awaits you in life, children,
There is a lot of grief and evil in life.
There are temptations from insidious networks,
And the burning darkness of despair.

There is a longing of impossible desires,
Hopeless, joyless work
And retribution through years of suffering
For ten happy minutes.

Still, do not weaken your soul,
When the time comes for testing.
Humanity is alive alone
A mutual guarantee of goodness.

Wherever your heart tells you to live -
In the noisy light or in the rural silence -
Spend without counting and boldly
You are the treasures of your soul.

Don't look, don't expect a return,
Do not be embarrassed by evil mockery.
Humanity is still rich
Only a circular guarantee of goodness

These poems were written from the soul. These lines give the most complete definition of good that has ever existed: good as mutual responsibility, and the most good-natured challenge to evil that has ever sounded on earth is thrown:

Wherever your heart tells you to live,

In the noisy light or rural silence,

Spend without counting - and boldly

You are the treasures of your soul!

Guys, start doing good today...

Progress of the lesson

I. Introductory part (slide No. 1, see electronic presentation).

Teacher: Guys, what does the word “good” mean to you? (students express their different opinions).

Teacher:

No matter how life flies -
Don't regret your days,
Do a good deed
For the sake of people's happiness.
To make the heart burn,
And it didn’t smolder in the darkness
Do a good deed -
That's why we live on earth

(teacher shows and reads slide number 2 in the presentation).

Good- this is something that never disappears, but on the contrary, increases with every new good deed. It is important to think about others, help selflessly, filling each day with meaning.

Kindness- this is responsiveness, emotional disposition towards people, the desire to do good to others (from Ozhegov’s dictionary, slide number 3).

We sometimes don't notice how many good deeds people around us do.

– Let’s work in groups (students are divided into 3 groups). I will give you a “Chamomile Flower” and separate petals, on these petals you will write what good deeds you have done in your life (the teacher shows slide number 4). Then, we will pin all this on the board and look at our “good deeds” (deeds).

Students hang their daisies with good deeds on the board (helped their mother clean the apartment; helped her sister do her homework; fed homeless animals; donated her toys to orphanages/shelters; bought pens and pencils for these children with her mother; helped her grandmother water the garden and etc.).

Teacher: That's how many good deeds and deeds you have done, what great fellows you are! A good deed lives for two centuries! Who can explain the meaning of this proverb?

(students express their opinions: a person who does good deeds is remembered for a very long time and about his actions).

II. Main part

Teacher: And now guys, we will read the story “The Little Match Girl” by G.-H. Andersen (you can watch the cartoon).

The teacher gives the children the text of a story about how a poor girl with matches lit matches one after another and watched bizarre shadows - pictures. She then saw a warm stove, then a delightful goose, a Christmas tree and even her grandmother. A poor, hungry girl just wanted to warm herself up on a winter evening... but many people passing by her did not even notice the grief of this girl.

– How do you think this girl felt?

– Why were people so indifferent to her trouble? After all, if everyone helped, then this world would become at least a little more perfect, kinder and brighter. We do good deeds not for the sake of glory or for the sake of gratitude, but how pleasant it is in the soul to understand that you have helped someone in this world, made someone happy!!!

Teacher: In good deeds we can help not only people, but also animals. Our school is currently hosting a charity event to help shelter animals (the teacher shows slide number 5 presentation - photo), which was organized by girls from 10th grade. Does anyone know what “charity” is? (the teacher listens to different opinions of students). Okay, that means: this is “to do good,” “to do good.”

Charity– is providing selfless help to those who need it. This is exactly the kind of help our faithful friends – animals – need. This promotion will last from October 11 to October 25. If someone wants to help animals, then bring and put in a box: dry food for cats and dogs, canned food, cereals, leashes, collars, beds, blankets, dressings, etc.

– And now I would like to tell you how the citizens of our country help other people, carry out acts of mercy and kindness. Look at the following diagram (the teacher shows slide diagram No. 6):

Goodness surrounds us everywhere and everywhere, only in everyday life, sometimes we don’t notice it. But so many people and animals need our help. Good is a miracle that is given to every person! Everyone is kind in their own way. Please draw what kindness is associated with you (the teacher hands out sheets of white paper and pencils to the children). Then the results of the work are posted on the board (discussed). Variants of drawings (heart, human hands, “magic words”: hello, please, thank you; mom; smile; person; sun, etc.). You can organize an exhibition of works!

Teacher: Let's look at the next slide of our presentation (the teacher shows slide number 7). Here it is necessary to connect the beginning and end of the proverb about good deeds and deeds.

Teacher: Guys, mercy begins with you!

Mercy- this is kindness, sympathy, a willingness to do good to anyone and everyone! (teacher shows slide number 8).

In our country there are many charitable foundations:

1). Charitable Foundation of Konstantin Khabensky (slide number 9). There are different charity programs: "Targeted assistance"(providing targeted charitable assistance to children with cancer and other brain diseases); “Happiness Therapy” (to increase the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation in children with cancer and other severe brain diseases, adding positive emotions to them); “Know and not be afraid” (improving the quality of treatment provided in Russia, developing early diagnosis of cancer and other severe brain diseases in children and young adults aged 18 to 25 years. Also, one of the main goals of the program is to change society’s attitude towards the topic of oncology ); “Assistance to medical institutions” (improving the quality of medical services for patients with severe brain diseases and optimizing the financial costs of their treatment).

2). Charitable Foundation for Seriously Ill Children, orphans and disabled people "Rusfond" (slide number 10). The main task is to help seriously ill children.

3). Charitable Foundation for Childrenwith oncohematological and other serious diseases "Gift a life"(slide number 11). Among the areas of his activity are raising funds for the purchase of medicines and equipment for specialized clinics, helping children who were unable to receive a quota for high-tech treatment, organizing the work of volunteers in hospitals, developing free blood donation, providing access to pain relief, etc.

4). Valery Gergiev Foundation (slide number 12). Objectives of the fund: support for creative projects and tours of the Mariinsky Theater, assistance, including targeted assistance, to young artists, musical groups, and talented Russian performers.

5). Charitable food fund "Rus"(slide number 13). The fund accepts donations from Russian food producers and distributes them with the help of non-profit organizations, social services and parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church. Thus, in 2015, many free lunches were prepared in 20 workshops for those in need.

There are many other funds: Charitable Foundation "AdVITA", Hospice Assistance Fund "Vera"ROO "Mercy" and others.

III. Final part

Teacher: Let's listen to the song "Do Good!"

Lyrics of the song: “Don’t wait for them to come to you and say: “Help!”

Come forward, good friend,
And extend your hand!
Always keep your heart and palm open.
And warming the weak,
Burn, shine, fire!

Chorus:

Help everyone.

Do not forget.

Your world is filled with colors
And someone's world is empty.
Fill it with a fairy tale
You can do it like a hero.
Share goodness and joy,
Without asking for rewards.
A grateful smile
You'll be glad to see it.

Chorus (2 times):
Do good if you can do it.
Help everyone.
After all, there is no end or limit to kindness.
Do not forget.

IV. Reflection

Teacher: Our lesson is coming to an end. I hope that today's lesson brought even more kindness into your hearts. We will try to be more attentive to those who need it. You need to be worthy people and be able to understand and accept the pain of another person and try to give them at least a small drop of happiness to those who need it!

Do good if you can do it.
Help everyone.
After all, there is no end or limit to kindness.
Do not forget ( slide No. 14).

Teacher: And now, I will give you hearts (prepared in advance by the children at the technology lesson + poster, slide number 15), on which you write what good deed you would like to do in the near future.

– We will leave these hearts in the classroom, hang them on a poster and after a while, we will see what good deeds you have brought to life.

Teacher: A merciful person is one who gives the warmth of his soul to people who find it difficult during this period of life. Mercy is one of the best qualities of a person. I am sure that kindness exists in each of us, we just need to not forget about it. Making others happy is a rare gift, not given to everyone. We must learn to please others. And this can be done by doing good deeds quietly, sincerely!

Aftereffect options: the next day, the children took part in a school charity event to help animals from the shelter (they brought food, houses, beds, even clothes for the animals). Some students offered to take part in the action “to help the boarding home for orphans,” and parents also joined in! Do good!

Educator: How do you understand the word mercy? What does it mean?

Children: When a person is ready to help someone who is having a difficult time, who is in trouble.

Educator: Mercy is the mercy of the heart. Mercy coming from the heart is always selfless. Mercy is willingness to do good. This is empathy, compassion. Kindness and mercy can work miracles. I suggest you play the game « Good words» .

Children take the ball and call good words(attentive, caring, responsive, Kind, modest, patient, generous, sincere, merciful, noble, welcoming, etc.) and pass it on to another child.

A kind word heals, and evil cripples.

The world is not without good people.

A good person teaches good things.

Behind a good deed is always praise.

About do a good deed and speak boldly.

Good glory lies, and the bad one runs.

Educator: Since ancient times, people have believed in good. They talked about it in fairy tales, where good Evil always won. In epics, where mighty heroes helped their people, protected them from enemies, performing feats in the name of love for their Motherland and their loved ones. People who lived their lives life in faith and love, were honest, fair, merciful, patient, kind, the humble were called reverend, in other words, like God. Today I want to tell you about St. Sergius of Radonezh (shows icon). From childhood he grew up as a modest, silent, obedient boy. He was meek, affectionate, never got irritated, and always obeyed his parents. Since childhood, he helped his parents and other people. Sergius never hurt animals and took care of them. Having become a priest, he helped people who came to him for advice, blessings, and help. People came to him from different cities for healing. And sometimes just to see him. Sergius could "in quiet and meek words" act on the hardest and most bitter hearts. He often tried people on with each other. He taught people lessons of morality, selflessness, and love for others. Sergius of Radonezh founded the Trinity Monastery near Moscow (now the Trinity-Sergius Lavra). The image of St. Sergius of Radonezh became an example of patience, diligence, spiritual purity and kindness. He lived so righteously that he was canonized as a saint of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Educator: Let us also be merciful and kind. After all, only kindness can save the world from cruelty, anger, rudeness. In Rus' they have always considered a tree kind. Come here and look at our tree.

Children approach an easel on which a tree without leaves is painted.

Educator: This is a tree « Good deeds» . Give a piece of yours kindness to the tree. To do this, you need to trace your palm, cut it out and stick it on the tree.

Children go to the tables, take colored paper, trace their palm with a pencil, cut it out and stick it on the tree.

Educator: Children, how wonderful it is to bring joy good deeds.

Why, tell me quickly

The world is becoming kinder?

Because someone is happy

From a simple word "Hello!"

And from the laughter of the kids

And from the sun's rays.

And the smell of lilac

And from the nightingale's trill.

The world is mysterious, huge,

Look what he's like Kind!

So come on, me and you

We talked about our good deeds, recalled works in which heroes did good deeds, told proverbs and sayings about good, learned about St. Sergius of Radonezh, who became an example for us kindness and mercy. And we also made a tree« Good deeds» and realized that it’s good to bring joy to people good deeds.

Page 7-21. Life is given for good deeds

good friend
T. Coty

Life is given for good deeds,
So that heart reaches out to heart,
So that the good word returns
And the road was bright.
Life is given for good deeds.
A man has a good friend.
This is conscience.
Everyone knows her.
In someone's heart, she is at home.
It will make someone scared
If you don't have time to listen to the truth.
Conscience teaches us how to live.
You will always recognize her voice.
You won't always hear what you want.
But you will understand what is best to do.
Conscience teaches us how to live.
Life is given for good deeds,
So that heart reaches out to heart,
So that the good word returns
And the road was bright.
Life is given for good deeds.

Why do you think the author chose these words for the title of the poem? Can conscience be a good friend? Why? Have there ever been situations in your life when you heard the voice of conscience? Did you listen to her advice? Suggest your own ideas for the title of the poem. Write them down.

There have been situations in my life when I heard the voice of conscience. I had to listen to her advice.
My options for the title of the poem: “Life is given for good deeds”, “You will always recognize the voice of conscience”, “Bright road”.

Read what Vladimir Ivanovich Dal said about his native Russian language in “The Word of Advice.” Don't you think that he
Do words spoken almost 150 years ago sound very modern today?

V. Dahl
Look at Derzhavin, at Karamzin, Krylov, at Zhukovsky, Pushkin... isn’t it clear that they avoided the speech of others; that they tried, each in their own way, to write in pure Russian? And how much Pushkin valued our people’s speech, with what fervor and delight he listened to it... Simply put, Russian speech faces one of two things: either to be utterly debased, or, having come to its senses, to turn onto a different path, taking with it all that has been abandoned in a hurry stocks. Explain how you understood the words foreign language, send, come to your senses. Look up the meanings of these words in a dictionary. What kind of reserves, abandoned in a hurry, do you think V. Dahl is talking about? Why should we take care of them? Discuss with a friend how you yourself feel about your native language, whether you take care of it, and whether you don’t litter your speech with unnecessary, ugly words.

The words of V. Dahl, spoken almost 150 years ago, today sound very modern, because Russian speech is filled with jargon and a large number of foreign words.

Alien speech is words borrowed from a foreign language.
To vulgarize - to become vulgar, to become vulgar.
Having come to my senses - having come to my senses, having come to my senses.

I think that V. Dal is talking about original Russian words, which is what he means by the expression “reserves abandoned in a hurry.” We must take care of them, because they constitute the wealth of the Russian language.

Sometimes my friends and I use slang words, but we try to say them as rarely as possible. The native language must be loved and protected - we understand this.
