The musical open-air, which traditionally takes place on the territory of the Gorki Leninskiye Museum-Reserve, is organized as part of the Governor's program Our Moscow Region. For two days it was visited by more than 6 thousand people, specified in the material.

“A very kind popular event, four years ago it was organized by Igor Mikhailovich Butman. Music and art lovers traditionally gather here on these summer days. Both yesterday and today the festival gathers . I wish the festival to develop further so that it attracts more people. I am sure that Igor Mikhailovich has a lot of creative teams that he supports, and we will see new stars here, ”said Andrey Vorobyov, quoted by the press service.

The producer and ideological inspirer of the festival is the famous saxophonist, People's Artist of Russia Igor Butman. At his personal invitation, prominent jazz musicians traditionally come to Leninsky Gorki, the article notes.

“I am very glad that the government of the Moscow region and our governor Andrey Yuryevich Vorobyov supported the idea of holding this wonderful festival in Gorki Leninskie. I was here as a schoolboy on a field trip and we were talking about how great it would be to have this festival in this place. And for the 4th year in a row, a lot of people come here with their families, walk, watch, go on excursions, listen to great music and enjoy communication,” said Igor Butman, his words are given in the message.

As noted in a press release, the festival hosted a broadcast of a World Cup match. Andrey Vorobyov together with Igor Butman and State Duma deputy Vyacheslav Fetisov "Jazz Seasons".

“The governor’s programmatic approach to everything that happens here, the support of famous people so that they can bring culture to those places that are important for the country, this is very important. Igor Butman invites the most famous jazz musicians here. This is the very bridge that unites the people in order to once again understand, to realize that such personal relationships change life for the better. The festival turned Gorki Leninskie into a real one of our country,” the press service quotes Vyacheslav Fetisov.

This year the festival has brought together 10 bands from Russia, Armenia, Sweden and the USA, representing a variety of jazz trends - from classical to avant-garde. On the first day there was a performance by Swedish vocalist and pianist Jonah Nilsson. Popularity came to him in just one night, as part of the Dirty Loops group, he performed several cover versions of hits that collected millions of views on YouTube. Also, on Saturday, the group “Leonid & friends”, the US singer Elliott, the quartets of Hayk Grigoryan and Oleg Butman, as well as the Big Jazz Orchestra of Peter Vostokov performed before the audience, is listed in the material.

As noted in the message, in 2018 the Jazz Seasons festival entered the top 10 musical open-airs in Russia.

“This is a non-commercial project for us, why do we support it so much as part of the gubernatorial program “Our Moscow Region”? Because the content of the festival, the program itself is a priori more expensive than tickets. We can't sell expensive tickets: people come here with their families, friends, six or seven people, it should be accessible. But at the same time, we have a program of impeccable quality, and this is the difference from commercial, replicated festivals. Each time, Igor Mikhailovich Butman and his team, which has amazing connections with the jazz world, have the opportunity to invite the brightest musicians to the Moscow region, ”said Narmin Shiraliyeva, adviser to the governor of the Moscow region on culture with the rank of minister, her words are also cited in the material.
