Alpha state or the key to the fulfillment of desires. On Silence and the State of Inner Silence

ON SILENCE AND THE STATE OF INNER SILENCE

SILENCE IS PRICELESS. It is at the heart of many Kundalini Yoga techniques, just as it is always present at the very heart of communication. Sometimes we think that we will make our communication more effective if we say as many words as possible in a short time. But this does not make communication and understanding better.

Succinct speech is much better than a flow of words that has no impact. Carefully considered words consist of a balanced ratio of silence and sound reaching the heart. We see how admirably this is used in the art of poetry. In poetry, silence, a pause between words and phrases, is a support that gives additional meaning and enhances the impact of words. It is a skillful combination of silence and sound that conveys feelings undistorted and pure.

Using Rhythm and Silence to Project and Convey Subtle Aspects naad is the essence of all yoga. That's why Siri Guru Grand Sahib, Jap Ji and many other scriptures are created in the genre of poetry and songs.

Let's explore this issue in more depth. What comes to your mind when you think of silence? I'm sure that thinking about silence can be quite a noisy process, as your mind will immediately start chattering about it. In fact, the best way to experience silence is to meet it and let it speak for itself.

Yogi Bhajan has always sought to "guide" us into silence. Just being with him was enough to quiet the mind's usual chatter and begin to notice the ego's more distorted defensive responses. He once explained what he meant by silence when a student asked him how one could appreciate silence while constantly listening to mantras and Gurbani Kirtan music:

Yogi Bhajan: Silence is not outside, it must be inside.

Student: Does listening to mantras break the silence?

Yogi Bhajan: No no no.

TeachingsTo: What about Gurbani Kirtan music?

Yogi Bhajan: Gurbani Kirtan is very silent music. You need to take everything out of your mind in order to create music, words and sounds. Kirtan is an experience of absolute silence because nothing belongs to you.

Silence is when nothing belongs to you.

SILENCE IS THE STATE OF PEACE OF OUR BEING. This is the state when the Spirit of our infinite Self directs the constant flow Prakriti. It is conscious observation and total presence. This state develops primarily through letting go of everything. You don't own anything. Everything belongs to Him. This ancient wisdom, described in all traditions, leads to the full disclosure of human potential.

As soon as we make even one distinction - it's mine and not yours - the ego is activated to guard and use it. And then life turns into receiving, holding and protecting. In order for silence to be deep and real, this natural function of the ego must be turned off completely.

Yogi Bhajan learned this well in his early childhood thanks to his grandfather who taught him many aspects of communication:

TRUE INNER SILENCE

There is no other way to know silence than to meet it, to dissolve into it and observe it.

God is not what you want to know, God is what you already know within yourself and who you really are.

Nothing is the source of Everything. Silence is the source of all vibrations. The finite is the process of manifestation of the Infinite. Dive deeper and deeper into yourself and find yourself in this absolute silence. Each of your cells should be immersed in silence. Let every nerve enjoy the impact of the silence. Let the endocrine system secrete in silence. Let your Higher Self enjoy the blessings of silence and vibrate into Infinity.

Life has many facets, but in each there is one obligation - to find yourself in yourself. For those who do this, there will be no secrets. When the center is found, everything is found. Allow yourself to go deep into the silence of yourself. Penetrate through all layers.

Inner silence allows your Higher Self and heart to dissolve into your presence and be felt by others, even if you are silent. Without the noise generated by your internal conflicts and separation, your message can be heard. And we can hear ourselves, develop our sensitivity and feel connected to the entire universe.

This idea goes against the generally accepted attitude in the West towards silence. We believe that nothing happens in silence. In fact, we allow everything to happen when we are calm and silent. Adding awareness to silence allows you to embrace the Silence, which is the heart and creative pulse of the Divine. Just like in love: the feeling of intimacy arises instantly and with complete clarity, and desire manifests itself without any spoken words.

Immersion in such silence is the key to managing your life and understanding yourself. Throughout his years of teaching Yogi Bhajan encouraged his students to periodically use physical silence and develop its deepest aspects during meditation practices. When he started teaching White Tantra courses as Mahan Tantrik, he required all participants to keep quiet. could only be spoken Sat Nam if you had to say something out loud. In this teaching Sat Nam means silence. This phrase does not belong to us, it is not given to us by our ego, but is kindly provided by the master so that we can synchronize any finite thought with the macroscopic sense of Infinity. Yogi Bhajan said that we should allow our subconscious mind to be cleansed, because when we are immersed in silence, it is not involved in the actions and reactions of all our thoughts and feelings. Dissolve within yourself. And let your aura speak.

Some sadhus take a vow of silence for the rest of their lives. But in Kundalini Yoga we remain to live in society. We accept all challenges, the reality of life and the flow We live with an attitude of gratitude and courage, fulfilling our karma, living mindfully and polishing character. We don't use supernatural powers to become super powerful by having siddhis (superpowers). Instead, we accept the universal power of God consciousness and rely on that relationship.

TEACHING FROM TRUE SILENCE

There are three important moments when we, as teachers of Kundalini Yoga, encounter both practice and silence.

  1. Setting -when we sing Adi Mantra to tune into Golden Chain of Teachers. In order to tune in and connect with it, we must be still. We must, by the power of one thought, instantly connect the mind with an infinite magnitude, reducing our ego to zero. Then we chant a mantra that confirms that all our actions are completed and guided by Infinity.
  2. bow -when we bow or perform Ardas for Guru. Yogi Bhajan said that having an altar - a place where you can bow - allows us to change. Without this opportunity and practice, we struggle with our ego and its ultimate projections.
  3. Meditation Traatak - when we use technology Traatak Meditations with the Tantric portrait of Yogi Bhajan. This special photo of Mahan Tantrika can project a state of absolute neutrality and peace. When you meditate on this image, you enter into direct contact with the Silence that is beyond all polarities, and you connect with the consciousness of the Mahan Tantrika of our Age.

Silence is woven into the teaching. It appears in the mind as a component shuni. Silence - like complete peace - is important to master life energy and manage stressful situations. It is the basis for communication when you listen to another person. It connects our desires with knowledge and their realization. She is the gateway between our experience of polarity and non-dual Oneness.

One of the greatest blessings of this teaching is that Yogi Bhajan came from his experience and accomplishments. Every step he shared was deliberate and verified. It was not just an idea, but a discipline by which you can prepare your consciousness for the experience and maturity of a sensitive person. Silence is just the beginning.

Yogi Bhajan: Once upon a time, as the scriptures confirmed by Guru Nanak say, there was only silence, and silence meditated. Out of this silence, the universe emerged, and we are in it. The universe is a place to work off karma in order to pay off the debts of the past. We ourselves, our relatives and friends - all contribute to the creation and processing of karma. This is where reputation comes from. This is called the depth of the soul. If the soul wins, reputation is the end result of a person's activities.

By staying connected to your roots that exist outside of time, you connect to a source of energy and knowledge. This is one of the reasons why we do sadhana. Sadhana is a powerful way to engage your mind and create a dialogue with yourself. Yogi Bhajan shared the following story explaining this process:

As long as you breathe, your mind will constantly create thoughts. Whatever your actions and reactions, everything happens due to thought. If someone challenges you, you should respond, "Let me think about it." Who loses from the fact that you let negative thoughts pass through you? And who wins when you allow yourself to think positively? Your failures and poverty are based on your negative thoughts, and your prosperity and fulfillment are based on positive ones. So when you gossip in a negative way, running around like headless chickens and talking incessantly, even though you don't want to say anything, who are you really hurting?

There are three types of communication.

The first - without any signs of speech. It is a communion of gratitude or revenge. If you want to pay respect to a person, you stop, shut up, close your eyes and immerse yourself in grace. God will shower His grace on you many times over if you do this. Or, when you see someone, you get angry, make faces, and negative thoughts and curses are born in you. Then you destroy yourself.

The second way of communication is inherently the creation of understanding or misunderstanding. When you create understanding, you bring love and friendship, peace and quiet. Otherwise, you destroy each other.

The third way to communicate is just a waste of time. You talk because you can't stop. It's neither good nor bad, and has no meaning or real meaning. It's called: "Let's have lunch together." You eat and chat about something. Not only do you not know what you will talk about, but the other person does not know why he will listen to it. Such is human behavior.

SILENCE DURING SADHANA

Prana is used in all types of communication. Prana is your life force. Those who meditate are able to speak without using physical communication. Some people talk in order to control their personality in this way. Still others speak simply to express their individuality.

In all three groups there are those who rise in the early hours of the ragweed when the sun hits the earth at a 60-degree angle, making it possible to connect with the Infinite. They talk to themselves and to heaven. In our usual language we call this sadhana.

Sadhana is a special kind of communication. You are creative, silent (although you can chant a mantra), meaningful, you communicate with yourself within yourself, and your subconscious shines as brightly as the Divine.

Below are Yogi Bhajan's recommendations that you can use when you meditate:

“Immerse yourself in a state of calm. Close your eyes and look deep into yourself. To receive, you must give something. You need to give yourself a chance to be quiet. You just close your eyes and look deep into yourself so that you can see everything well. Silence is the language of all languages. Become serene. Calm the body, every cell of it.

And now, cell by cell, begin to enjoy being in your body. Concentrate on every sensation, on every particle of your body. Feel. With all power, with all knowledge, with all feeling, if you can feel your own body, you will achieve something unique. Because you are you, without you there is nothing. The entire universe around you is also within you. If you can feel yourself, you can feel everything. Concentrate and go deep within yourself.

Start at the tips of your toes and work your way up to the tips of your scalp hair. Explore yourself completely. Make this exploration very conscious. Do it with dignity. Feel your every cell. Realize that you have what you should have. Deep within you is the creative power of God - creating, organizing and destroying, and it is concentrated in you. Try to find its center. If you help yourself, then you can help the world.

Deep within you is the pulse of your life. Whether you are young or old, woman or man, if you do not hear this rhythm, you have not yet found happiness in life. Concentrate and consider the energy that is in the left and right parts of your body, and between them there is a constant interchange.

Now open your eyes and rub your hands as hard as you can."

Here are some tips on how to start interacting with silence:

  1. Notice when you suddenly find yourself in silence at work or in nature. Stop and pay attention to it. Listen to the quality of this silence. As you do this, a calmness will arise within you to help you adapt to the tattvas of silence. What we see outside, we can feel inside.
  2. Notice how your thoughts stop the moment you focus on silence.
  3. Even in the noisiest environments, you can pick out silence if you are still and unresponsive to whatever grabs your attention.
  4. Just let go of all reactions and resistance. Let the present moment be as it is. If you own nothing, everything will be taken care of. And this situation is exactly the one you need to face. Trust is the great friend of silence.
  5. Pay attention to the pauses that are used in poetry between words, between the transition from one activity to another, between inhalation and exhalation. This is a special point of balance to observe in all meditations. This ethereal point automatically gives expansion, opportunity, and a state of presence.

MEDITATION TO ACHIEVE THE STATE OF INNER SILENCE

If you believe that there are no difficult situations in your life, you are not living at all. Life cannot be without challenges. With each new challenge you get a new qualification. And you need to meet this qualification. Let's try right now to reorganize our nervous system so that we can become intuitively aware.

Pose:Sit with your spine straight, chest up, chin in to chest, and close your eyes. Relax your right hand, press your elbow to your body and extend your arm forward parallel to the floor with your palm up. The palm is not fully extended, but slightly rounded in the form of a cup. The left hand is parallel to the floor with the palm up and touches the diaphragm (lower part of the chest) with the palm of the hand. It cuts through your electro-magnetic field. The left hand will separate prana from apana at the point udany.

Let go of all thoughts. Meditate to a mantra "Guru Ram Das" performed Singh Kaur or other uplifting music such as "Rakhe Rakhankar" performed Singh Kaur.

Rhythm:Breathe very slowly. Inhale: 20 seconds. Delay: 20 seconds. Exhale: 20 seconds.

Duration: 11 minutes.

Completion:Take a breath, hold your breath for 25 seconds and press the diaphragm area with your left hand. Squeeze your whole body. Exhale. Inhale again, hold your breath for 25 seconds and collect all the energy at the point of the diaphragm, do not feel sorry for yourself, press and squeeze the whole body with all your strength. Exhale. Take another breath. Hold your breath for 25 seconds, squeeze and press with your left hand as if you want to touch the spine, passing through the chest. Exhale and relax.

Practices for Achieving Inner Silence Practice - Inner Silence To understand how to achieve this state of consciousness, you need to understand how a person thinks. And he does it very simply. An ordinary person pronounces thoughts to himself. So the first thing you should do is stop the internal dialogue. Stop using the "talker". Just take control of it (the speaker) and don't let it talk while you are practicing the state of inner silence. After control over the talker is established and it does not speak, say to yourself and your subpersonalities in a commanding tone: “The one who speaks is not me!”, since you hear not only yourself, but also other beings. Remember, the mind hears first, then the brain, and then the ears. Having said, I am the one who is silent, stop thinking and observe where thoughts come from, where their source is, remembering that you are the consciousness of I AM. Then politely ask (the thought source) not to think in your mind, which has entered a state of inner silence. But if, after a polite request, someone intentionally interferes with you, eliminate the source of thoughts in your head in order to achieve the state of consciousness you need (inner silence). Then stay in a state of inner silence (complete absence of thoughts) for as long as possible. Purpose: to stop the thoughts in your head Tell yourself: you are the one who is silent (it means that the one who chats in your head is not you). Then feel empty in your head. Imagine and feel a space like space, in which there are no stars or planets, just emptiness. This is the state of inner silence. Provided that thoughts will be absent. If it does not help, the only way out is to constantly accumulate a state of inner silence. That is, you managed not to think for 3 seconds, then as a result of training for 1 minute, and so on in ascending order. Or so with Your consciousness you can think and feel. Stop the thoughts in your head. It's pretty simple. All you have to do is stop talking your thoughts to yourself. Feel the place where you speak thoughts to yourself. This is an energy center in the region of the Adam's apple. Feeling, observe how the pronunciation of thoughts to yourself takes place. Then, through the senses, take control of this center so that there is absolute silence in it. Since this is your energy center, it must completely obey you. If it's not, take control of it. Having taken control of the center in which the pronunciation of thoughts takes place, observe with your consciousness through the senses how thoughts from your head and from outside aspire to this energy center in order to be voiced (spoken). After observing the thoughts and identifying their source, take full control of your mind. Tell yourself - I am the one who is silent. All the others who are chatting are not you. If there are uncontrolled sources in your mind, where thoughts come from, eliminate them. Further, having established inner silence (complete or partial absence of thoughts, how did it happen) and relaxing, because in order to feel good you need to relax, begin to perceive thoughts Practice - Walking the Force on Castaneda Fingers should be tightened, the back should be straight. The eyes are directed to the horizon line and look at the hemisphere, with the main attention being transferred to peripheral vision. To enhance the effect, you can add hearing to this technique: you need to listen to the world. With this perception, the ear "unfolds into a ball", that is, it perceives all the surrounding sounds at the same time, and not separately, as we are used to. This creates a sense of "depth" of sounds. Very cool practice. It is advisable to perform twenty to twenty-five minutes. No more, but no less. After a week, you yourself will feel how much you can increase the training time. The results become noticeable in ten to fifteen days. Practice - Statements. Osho. You need to sit down, relax, close your eyes and let your internal dialogue “speak out”. At the same time, if you have enough personal Power for this, you can quietly observe what is happening. And a picture of amazing beauty is created: the dialogue at first gently whispers out of habit, then slowly raises its voice, its chatter becomes more absurd, stupider, more incoherent. After about eight or ten minutes, he begins to tell anything at all. He especially likes to use two tricks to get your attention. First, he likes to tell something logical, especially related to numbers: a calendar, bus schedules, or mathematical formulas that you thought you forgot when you graduated from school. Secondly, he often catches us on reminiscences: he will slip you a picture from his youth, and he himself will immediately jump into the background and whisper so softly - he describes the world. And in the first and in the second case, if you caught him on this, you need to act in this way: just ignore it and not get carried away in the slipped picture.

How many of you are familiar with the state of inner silence? It is also: the state of the recessive state, Satori, the state of emptiness, the state of stopping the internal dialogue.

Hundreds of thoughts run through our heads every minute. They occupy our minds with useless talk about nothing. Try to track how thoughts and emotions are born inside you. This continuous process makes it difficult to focus on the most important, to get to the bottom of things, to find the right one among hundreds of options. And the voice of our intuition constantly speaks to us, but we cannot hear its advice. Our minds are attacked by thousands of useless thoughts, filling our lives with chaos.

When the process of development and extinction of thoughts occurs at a great speed and without our control, this does not allow us to focus on solving specific problems. We endlessly change our goals, instead of starting to translate ideas into reality.

It doesn't matter what reason and logic says. Most of our actions are dictated by the subconscious. And to deal with those contradictions that tear our life apart is possible only with the help of a state of inner silence. This is the basis of working on yourself. No super-effective methods or even magical secret knowledge will bring results if you fail to stop the run of extraneous thoughts.

Today we will learn to reach the state of inner silence in a few minutes, in any situation. In the East, people perform various activities for decades in order to achieve "Satori", the state of enlightenment. Our time resource does not allow us to spend several years on this lesson. Therefore, we use particularly effective techniques that give results within a few days.

We will now do some exercises. Then morning and evening for a week you will practice them for ten minutes. After the first correct execution, you will feel something special. New ways of solving problems will appear, your outlook on some things will change a little. You realize your mistakes and missed opportunities. Write down how you feel after doing the exercise in your workout diary.

Enough theory! Let's move on to practice! Close your eyes, relax. Extend both arms forward. Your attention is focused on the fingertips of both hands. Stay in this position for 20 seconds.
Now that the feeling has become especially clear. All attention at your fingertips! Do not be distructed. Start slowly moving your hands in a small amplitude. Don't lose the sensation of both palms at the same time. We continue for 5 minutes.

Who managed to stop the running of thoughts? I think that there are only 10-15% of them. More? Amazing! And who could just keep their attention on their fingertips? Tell me about your feelings. (5-6 rave reviews from the audience).

Let's move on to the second exercise. Take a white piece of paper. Take a close look at its middle. Your gaze is riveted to the middle of the white sheet. Stay in this state for a minute. All attention is occupied by the sheet!

Make your task more difficult. Let your gaze describe a circle on a piece of paper, or move it up and down on a piece of paper. Devote ten minutes to this activity.
If thoughts continue to haunt you and there is no way to stop them: accelerate the movement of your eyes.

Don't look at your neighbor! We devote all attention to ourselves! You are alone here and now the opinion of other people, their result should not worry you. Keep doing the exercise.

Ten minutes have passed. Almost every second person has reached the state of inner silence. How long did you manage to stay in this state?

Engage in contemplation of the white sheet for fifteen minutes a day, morning, afternoon and evening. Write down your evening session in your diary.

Is it possible to replace a white sheet of paper with another color. Yes, of course, and blue, and green, and black will bring the same result. But there are two reasons why I recommend contemplating the white sheet.

The first reason: any color carries some kind of energy charge. There is even a science of color healing, when people contemplate different colors, or they are affected by colored light. Your goal is to learn how to achieve a state of silence. Don't chase multiple effects. It is better to have one stable result in a state of inner silence than several weak shifts in several directions.

The influence of any color on the psyche is difficult to determine independently. If, suddenly, you have thoughts of suicide or wake up wild aggression towards others, this may be the result of observing a black or red sheet of paper. The subconscious perceives all our commands, even if we are not aware of their existence.

White color means purification, illumination, innocence. It does not carry any powerful stimulating charge. So it is ideal for achieving a state of silence.

The second reason: all the time of the lesson, one subject is needed. Our minds tend to find excuses for their laziness. Instead of a lesson, you will choose a subject to work on yourself. Every minute finding a new thing.

Any object that causes you a minimum of emotions is suitable for contemplation. When you study every inch of a sheet of white paper, your thoughts will no longer come to your mind. You already heard everything about the leaf from them.

Now imagine how many emotions will overwhelm you if you regularly change the subject? What is important is not the subject or process, but the result itself. If you are aiming for maximum results in a short time, then USE A SHEET OF WHITE PAPER.

All week it should be the same sheet. The size should be like a landscape sheet. It is necessary to perform the exercise in silence, loneliness and without bright light. There should be no distractions. Turn off your phone.

Third exercise. This is an advanced version of the first exercise. You need to move your right hand and left foot. Attention is simultaneously concentrated on the palm and on the foot. Perform movement in a small amplitude very slowly and at the same pace for about five minutes. Track how the pace of change of thoughts in your head changes, when it slows down, and at what point the running of thoughts stops.

Great! Rest for a while after exercising. What did you find particularly difficult with each of the three exercises? What did you like? Record everything in your training diary.

You need to do these exercises in the morning and evening every day. It should be performed until you reach a state of inner silence. Keep doing the exercise for a while. You need to stay for ten minutes in a state of inner silence in the morning and evening. The exercise time itself is not considered. Only being in a state of absence of thoughts and emotions.
Intuition is the way to success! And the state of inner silence will help you quickly develop your intuition and translate all your ideas into real life.

Internal adjuster (converter) of consciousness.

The Mind Adjuster is a particle of the One Infinite Creator.

The Inner Thought Adjusters are one of the distinct, though unified, ways in which the One Infinite Creator communicates with the creatures of his infinite creation.

The Mind Adjuster is an individual gift from the One Infinite Creator to an incarnated personality.

The mind adjuster is the actual presence of the One Infinite creator in the incarnated Personality.
In dealing with their merged creatures, Thought Adjusters demonstrate divine love and spiritual tutelage,

The Thought Adjuster voluntarily chooses an incarnate to merge with.

The Thought Adjuster is undividedly devoted to the incarnated personality.

The Thought Adjusters are Your direct channel of communication with the One Infinite Creator. There are no intermediaries, no other intervening instances or forces whose actions separate the Thought Adjusters from their human charges; One Infinite Creator and the embodied Personality are connected by a direct connection.

The Thought Adjuster knows you better than you know yourself. They are intelligent and have a personality.

The Thought Adjuster is the impeccable personal guide of the incarnated Personality on the Path of unleashing potentials and acquiring its qualities of the One Infinite Creator.

Thought Adjusters need no rest or re-energization, for they are energy, energy of the highest and most divine type.

Thought Adjusters are wise and are appointed in accordance with the characteristics of the intellectual abilities and spiritual capabilities of the Personality of the incarnated.

The Thought Adjuster awakens in the Soul of man the thirst for perfection and arrives in the mind of the incarnated personality after the first moral conscious choice.

Thought Adjusters never violate the free choice of man. They are persistent, resourceful, and perfect in their methods of work, but they never resort to violence against the willed individuality of the creatures who receive them. No person will be spiritualized by the divine Instructor against his will.

When a Thought Adjuster intrudes into the human mind, he brings with him the standard of the life path, the ideal of life established and ordained by himself and the Personalized Adjusters of the Deity Realm. Therefore, he begins his work with a precise and predetermined plan for the intellectual and spiritual development of the human ward. However, no person is obligated to accept such a plan. Every person has a destiny, but accepting this divine destiny is not preordained.

Anyone is free to reject any part or all of the Thought Adjuster's program. Its mission is to bring about such intellectual changes and achieve such spiritual transformations as may meet with voluntary and intelligent approval, and thus have a greater influence on the direction of personality development. However, at no time and under no circumstances do mind adjusters exert any arbitrary influence on your choices and decisions.

The Adjusters respect the sovereignty of your personality; they always obey your will.

The Thought Adjuster is ever ready to act according to the free choice of man.
The entire experience of the Thought Adjuster encompasses moral status, mental motivation, and spiritual experience.

The calling of mind adjusters is not to soothe turbulent feelings or patronize offended dignity; the attention and time of the Adjuster is devoted to preparing the Soul for remembering its true Essence, revealing the Divine Higher potentials, integrating the Divine Higher qualities on the Path of ascent to the One Infinite Creator. The Thought Adjuster helps to get rid of fears and replace them with Love, faith, and confidence.

The Thought Adjuster has free access to the spiritual information and energy of the universes and is ready to share this with the incarnated Personality as this Personality is ready for perception and understanding.
The consciousness of the Adjuster's presence is based on the intellectual perception of truth, the supramental awareness of virtue, and the personal urge to love.

The main task of modern man is to achieve more successful communication with the divine Monitor, the Thought Adjuster, who resides in the human heart, in a harmonious and intelligent attempt to go beyond the awareness of one's self, to make a sincere attempt to reach the boundaries of spirit awareness - to establish a connection with the divine presence in the form mind adjuster.

Inner silence is a natural property of the true self

It will be much easier to stop the endless uncontrolled stream of thoughts if we understand that inner silence is our true essence. This is the property of the Existing, from which we all came out and the connection with which is never interrupted, even if we do not feel this connection.

A chatty, incessant mind is not your true essence. It's not you. This is a manifestation of the false "I". This ego is rattling around in your head, trying to convince you that it is you. But it is not.

You are Being itself. This is inner silence. This is harmony and love. This is boundless peace.

You can come to this peace – truly Divine peace – if you disidentify from the mind. That is, fully aware that the mind is not you.

Inner silence is not emptiness at all. There is nothing frightening in it, and most importantly, there is nothing lifeless in it. Many people are afraid of peace and quiet, as they associate these concepts with death, with non-existence. But these fears are in vain, because there is nothing more alive than this inner silence. After all, this is the silence of the Existing, the source of all being, all life.

No matter how strange it may sound, but the inner silence is filled. It is filled not with thoughts, but with awareness. It is a field of silent awareness from which knowledge can come to us - without words, without thoughts, in the form of pure understanding. When we free our mind from the stream of thoughts, we gain access to the source of higher truth, which is Being, or, so to speak, to higher intelligence.

It is important to understand correctly: to live in a state of deep inner peace and silence does not mean to be inactive. When we enter into a state of “no-thoughts”, we plunge into inner silence, we do not fall into a state of trance or some kind of mental passivity at all. Our consciousness does not become less active. On the contrary, it becomes more active, works more clearly and efficiently – precisely due to reaching a different level of activity, to the level where the Being itself thinks and acts.

Silence can be heard in everything - in oneself, in the surrounding world, it can be heard behind any noise. This is not surprising - after all, the world is one in Existence, we are all one in it, and we all inherit the properties of Existing, including deep silence, deep peace. This is the original state of everything. Therefore, you can learn silence from anything, but the best teacher is, of course, nature.

Exercise

When you are somewhere in nature, in a forest or in a park, or in any other place where trees grow, choose the tree that you like best (or the first one that lingers on), stop, and look at it for a while. Imagine that the tree is not just alive, but animate and has consciousness. Try to mentally penetrate into his mind and understand what it is filled with. Turn on your sensations - feel what the tree feels.

The first thing you will be able to experience is a deep peace and stillness. The tree is still and silent, but it is a filled silence. There is harmony in it, and there is a quiet joy in it - the joy of being, the joy of existence. The tree lives and grows, and is in a state of harmony, peace and joy. Imagine that you, too, are entering this state of deep peace. The tree seems to show you an example, and you follow this example. The tree in this case acts as your teacher.

You can learn from any other plant, and from a flower, and even from a blade of grass. You can also learn from animals, trying to "copy" their internal state. And even near nature, which is called inanimate (although in fact all nature is alive) - near stones, rocks, sea, wind, clouds. All nature is permeated with deep peace, even if its external manifestations are restless. No matter how noisy the wind, no matter how the thunderstorm rumbles, no matter how the sea waves - in all this there is the peace of nature. You can feel this peace, enter into this silence.
