Ingredients:

  • 1 kg chicken thigh fillet
  • 2 onions
  • 800 g potatoes
  • 1 carrot
  • salt, seasonings
  • juice of 1 lemon or 60 ml
  • 80 ml vegetable oil

Place the bird thighs in a deep bowl and combine with lemon juice (vinegar), half the oil, salt, pepper and seasonings. Using massaging movements, distribute the marinade over the chicken meat. Place in a cool place to marinate for 2 – 3 hours, or in the refrigerator overnight.

Peel the potatoes, cut them as thin as possible, add the chopped carrots, the remaining oil, salt and pepper. Also mix thoroughly and

spread in an even layer in a mold with high sides. Place the marinated meat along with onions on top of the potatoes and cover with foil.

  1. Meat pieces are washed well, excess skin is cut off. There is no need to remove it completely, otherwise the pieces may turn out a little dry.
  2. The garlic is freed from the husk and divided into 2-3 parts. Pieces of it need to be stuffed into chicken meat. To do this, several shallow punctures are made in the meat with a knife.
  3. The thighs are generously rubbed with salt and selected spices. You can take special mixtures for chicken meat.
  4. The onion is peeled and cut into large rings. They must remain intact. You should not separate the vegetable into layers.
  5. The peel is removed from the potatoes, after which the vegetables are washed and cut into large strips. Use wet wipes to remove all excess moisture from the component.
  6. The cheese is cut into thin long strips.
  7. The prepared ingredients will be wrapped in small pieces of foil. Several onion rings are placed in each preparation, then a handful of salted potato straws. On top is the thigh, which is covered with slices of cheese.
  8. The products are wrapped with the free edges of the foil.
  9. The resulting envelopes are laid out on a baking sheet.

Baked in the oven at 190-200 degrees. The dish is served hot directly in the unfolded foil.
