How to draw a vase with a simple pencil step by step. How to draw flowers in a vase with a pencil

What flowers have we already drawn:

  1. – I did it pretty well, I recommend watching it;
  2. – the lesson is difficult, and not everyone can do it

Try to draw them all! And today, at the request of our reader Dmitry Istomin, we will study, how to draw a vase of flowers with a pencil. Here's what you should get: So, let's get started.

How to draw a vase with flowers with a pencil

Step one. Draw the outline of the vase. First, a circle in the center of the sheet. We will leave space on top to place the neck of the vessel and the flowers themselves. Step two. Now imagine that our circle is a ball, similar to Smesharik Krosh, only without ears, we need to place a cylinder on top. Let's draw its edges from our ball up. And then we’ll finish drawing the upper and lower bases of the neck. It is clear that we do not see the lower base, but for now we will leave all our auxiliary lines. Step three. Now we will show how from the neck of our vase into different sides stems of flowers stick out. Some are shorter, some are longer, some are more curved and some are straighter. Next, draw the outline and shape of the bud. These can be any flowers: irises, carnations or poppies. In our example - . Step four. We look carefully at the drawing. Now we need to shape the vase. At the same time, we outline our circle, show the neck and horizontal base. Step five. Now let’s responsibly draw the flower itself. We already had it. I suggest you look through it carefully to draw the tulip petals beautifully. Our buds will be collected. Step six. Well, we got the basics. You need to carefully erase invisible auxiliary lines. Now you can color. We will try to color the vase by drawing lines along its contour to emphasize the shape and add volume. Look carefully at the picture: left-hand side darker, and the right one is lighter, since the light falls from this side. The transition should be gradual. There are darker lines at the base of the vase itself and at the neck. We will also draw them along the contour, continuing the shape of the vase. All that remains is to color the flowers themselves. The vase is a very popular item; each of us has drawn it at least once in our lives. It is so popular that it is found in almost every still life. In this article we will analyze in detail what it is, its types, how to draw it with a pencil and paints.

How to draw a vase step by step: a simple example

Let's start from the very beginning simple example, then we’ll delve a little deeper into the theory, and then we’ll look at a few examples of drawing a vase with a pencil and paints.

Stage 1
Take a pencil and make a simple sketch. Don't worry if one of the sides turns out crooked. IN in this example the curved side is the feature of the vase :)

Stage 2
Let's paint on the flowers.

Stage 3
Take a marker and trace the outlines.

Stage 4
Use an eraser to erase the pencil lines and complete the drawing.

What is a vase?

Now let's go over the theory a little and then move on to more serious examples.

A vase is a cylinder and it differs from a cylinder only in that one or another part of it is wider or narrower. You should always remember this when drawing her.

We recommend that you learn to draw objects that are new to you from life, so you will better assimilate the material. We also recommend not to spare a pencil and make more auxiliary figures, in the case of a vase - these are rings like in the picture below.

Its types and forms

The shapes of this item are as varied as possible. You can walk through a museum or a store and you will see that they are all different. Thick, narrow, small, large, etc.

Use your imagination and draw them in the form of a triangle or square :)

Video lesson demonstrating how to draw unusual shapes.

Don't forget that they are transparent and the flower stem may be visible.

Pencil drawing example

So, first we make a sketch. Try to make it symmetrical.

We carry out rings for our convenience.

The sketch is ready, great! It's time for detailing, so drawing three flowers. You can draw a whole bouquet or just one flower.

Pay attention to the vertical lines running across the entire area of the vase. Yes, ours is not perfectly round, but with sharp edges. Therefore, the shades of chiaroscuro will change dramatically.

Draw shadows and highlights on the flowers. You can place a clean piece of paper under your hand so as not to accidentally smear the drawing.

The drawing is ready!

How to paint a vase of flowers in watercolor

We come to something very interesting, paint drawings! Let's start with a still life in watercolor.

We make a sketch, it is not necessary to achieve perfect symmetry, since watercolor paints will make the picture beautiful in any case :)

Add foliage and decorative circles.

Using a marker or felt-tip pen, trace and erase the pencil lines.

It's watercolor time! We paint the buds and the vase.

We color the foliage, note that the tips of the leaves are slightly lighter.

Vase with gouache flowers

We've dealt with watercolors, now let's try working with gouache.

So, let's make a sketch. We draw only the basics, there is no need to draw every stem and leaves, we will do this with paints.

We are working on the background: a brown table, one side of which is lighter than the other, and an orange wall.

Be sure to leave some empty space between the flowers, there will be green foliage there.

We work with green color.

Let's continue coloring.

To somehow diversify the design, add a little purple to it.

How to draw a bowl of fruit

Yes, they come not only with flowers, but also with fruits, and even with candies. Let's analyze a simple drawing from drawing textbooks from the times of the USSR.

A simple sketch.

We draw the contours of pears, apples and other goodies.

Apply chiaroscuro.

Ready! Of course, this example is very, very simple, so come up with complex shapes vases and draw them.

How to draw a vase with a rose

We won't show you step by step example because it's too easy for you.

All you need to be able to do is be able to draw a vase and a rose. You just combine these two things and that's it. Having read this far, you already know how to draw a vase, and you can see lessons with roses below. Good luck in drawing:)

I think it won't be difficult. Let's begin.

Step one. Let's draw the outline of the stem, thin and graceful. Let's outline the shape of the bud. Step two. Using thin lines we outline the leaves of the tulip, wide and large. Let one be curved.

Step three. Draw a thick stem. Making the leaves brighter. Diligently, smoothly, carefully. Step four. Draw the petal while maintaining the shape of the bud. Step five. Draw the second petal. And behind it, other petals are hidden inside, and they also need to be shown. Step six. We select pencils of the right color. Let us have a red flower itself. Let's outline the contours: the bud is scarlet, the stem and leaves are green. Step seven. Shade the entire drawing evenly with a pencil of the appropriate color, but without strong pressure. So that the tone is even and light enough. We try to shade along the contour. Eighth. Let's make the petal a brighter and more saturated color.

Ninth. Add color to the bud. We make the stem darker, the leaf inside is also dark, and we show the shadow. Step ten. Let's make the leaves a little brighter on the outside, but not darker than the shadow inside.

Eleventh. Last step. We add nuance and shades to our drawing to make it look more voluminous and lively.

How to learn to draw a rose with a pencil

STEP ONE. And so, we have everything we need, let’s move on directly to how to draw a rose with a pencil step by step. To begin, draw a circle. But don't do it with a compass. Firstly, it will leave a hole in the paper, and secondly, we are drawing, not making graphs. Next, with a slight deviation, draw an arbitrary outline of the rosebud. STEP TWO. Now we need to attach the stem. It should be drawn at a slight angle, this makes the drawing more realistic. Here it should be remembered that at the junction with the bud it has some thickening and several thin green petals. STEP THREE. It's time to take a closer look at the bud. Our task, to begin with, draw the outer petals of the rose. Since they are the most sensitive to light, temperature and other influences, it is worth drawing them a little wilted. It is also worth paying attention to the fact that their edges are slightly curved.

STEP FOUR . Let's move on to the inside of the flower. Here all the petals fit more tightly to each other, so they should be drawn as a single whole, separating their edges, and only the tips protruding slightly from the base. In symbolism, it is precisely this kind of unblown flower that is associated with young love, from which something more perfect and beautiful will grow.

STEP FIVE. On last stage we should depict the core of the bud. It's very simple. We need to draw the swirls of the upper parts of the leaf that form it. Also, to complete our work, outline the outline and erase unnecessary lines.

How to draw a snowdrop with a pencil step by step

Step one.

Let's start with simple lines. Let's first outline the dimensions (height and width) of the future flower. Mine is slightly smaller than a piece of A4 paper. Let's draw a curve indicating the stem. It looks like a palm tree.
Step two.

Let's add some curvy lines at the top.
Step three.

Now the same beauty, only from the side.
Step four.

Let's move on to drawing the flower itself. Remember that we are not Chinese characters, so try to make it more realistic.
Step five.

Let's draw another leaf at the bottom.
Step six.

Now I trace the outlines with a black pen and color it.
Here's mine: (this is scanned)

How to draw a poppy:

First stage . Usually flowers begin to be drawn from the center. Mark the center of the flower with a circle. We will draw a second circle around the designated center, but slightly larger than the previous one. This will be the conditional border of the petals for our flower. From it we will draw a vertical line - the line for the future stem. In the circle we need to draw four slightly curved lines with a thin, barely noticeable line. These will show us the center of the petals later.

Let's proceed to the second stage and look at the next picture. Draw the center of the flower. And from the center we draw several uneven, but smooth lines- these are the edges of the three petals of a flower and their dissection. Third stage. We finish drawing three petals, going beyond the contour-circle that we outlined with you in the first stage. Between the resulting petals we need to draw other petals. Look carefully at how it looks in the picture and try to make it as similar as possible. We outline the stem...

Fourth stage. Draw the poppy stem and leaves along the vertical line. We add dissections on the petals; they will make the drawing more lively and believable.

The final stage. Using an eraser, remove the auxiliary lines. So how? Happened? Hope so. Good luck!

Master class on unconventional technology drawing. "Poke" method

Author: Liliya Vasilievna Ryashentseva, teacher of group 3 of TOGBOU “Zavoronezh” Orphanage", Tambov region, Michurinsky district.
The master class is intended for educators, middle-aged and older students.
Target: introduce unconventional artistic technique drawing unusual materials"Poke method".
Tasks:
1. Teach students to create their own patterns based on acquired knowledge and develop creative personalities.
2. Develop attention, thinking, sense of harmony and balance.
3. Foster a desire for creative exploration.
This drawing method is very interesting. As a rule, children enjoy participating in the drawing process. I started getting interested in painting 5 years ago. I was not familiar with this technique before, I just happened to have an old, broken brush at hand one day. I trimmed it and noticed that it turned out beautiful patterns. The background for landscapes looks especially beautiful.
These are my last works

For work we will need: gouache, medium-sized jar of water, sheet of paper, scissors.

Since Spring and March 8th are coming soon according to the calendar, we will draw spring flowers - crocuses and snowdrops.
Stage 1 of work: cut the brush as shown in the photo.

Stage 2: place the brush directly, dip it in gouache and make pokes on the paper. We rarely use water. We start with lighter tones. Photo No. 6

Stage 3: add to yellow color blue red. We apply pokes over the entire surface of the sheet. Photo#7

Stage 4: fill with white paint those places that look empty, or where there is too much paint. Make sure the background becomes uniform.

Stage 5: after constructing the cut-off pattern (wait 10-15 minutes to dry completely), you can begin detailed work. This will require new paints and brushes.

While I was drawing, a simple poem was born in my head.
Drawing is not difficult at all!
You can learn anything!
Here is a leaf, and here is gouache,
Brush, water and pencil.
We only have a little left -
Write flowers in a vase!
So, as Mother's Day is coming soon,
I will give a master class for them.
I draw a YELLOW dot,
I will connect BLUE - WHITE.
I'll put the RED one next to it,
I find the background beautiful!
Only flowers remain.
Make them whatever you want!
I like the crocus color,
The cutest primrose!
The snow will barely melt and focus -
A crocus crawled out from under the snow!
And a snowdrop paired with him,
The tenderness is undeniable.
Blue flower and lilac,
In the middle - white, new.
They are full of colors,
Their outfit is very bright!
Let's paint the vase colorfully,
Let's write down the fallen petals.
Here the picture is ready.
And there’s a new plot in my head!
Stage 6: draw a vase by dipping the brush in water and whitewash. Since there is already a layer of paint under the vase, the vase will already be opaque.

Stage 7: scatter snowdrop leaves over the entire sheet.

Stage 8: Apply crocus petals with a wide brush.

Stage 9: Apply white to the petals to tint them a little.

Stage 10: draw snowdrops. There are many of them, so there is no need to draw them out exactly. Everyone understands what kind of flowers these are.

Stage 11: add some white flowers for contrast, add yellow to the petals.

Stage 12: cover the petals with lighter paint.

Everything worked out, the picture is ready!

And these are the works of my students, who took 1st place in various competitions.
