This is one of my favorite waffle iron recipes. A taste from childhood, waffles can be rolled into tubes and filled with boiled condensed milk or cream. These are still sold in stores and on beaches today. Only their quality and price are scary.

It’s much tastier and healthier to make it yourself, especially since it won’t take much time, everything is quite quick.

You can also roll these waffles into cones and fill them with homemade ice cream; the kids will be delighted.

And this recipe is not only tasty, but also very high in calories, but then you can replace the butter with milk or kefir. Try it too, it still turns out very tasty.

We will need:

  • Eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • Butter - 200 g;
  • Sugar - 1 glass;
  • Flour - approximately 180 g;
  • Sunflower oil (unflavored) - 1 tablespoon.

In addition, you can reduce the fat content by replacing 200 g of butter with 100 g and adding another 100 g of sour cream.

So, beat the softened butter with sugar using a mixer or a fork. It is best not to melt the butter, but rather to soften it, then the waffles will not stick.

Add the eggs and beat some more, preferably with a mixer.

Sift flour into the dough and mix.

To prevent the waffles from sticking to the waffle iron, add 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil. We learned from bitter experience, so it’s better to add oil now and grease the waffle iron itself once, then they won’t stick anymore, well, that’s what happened to me.

NOW we warm up our waffle iron, it usually takes 3-4 minutes. There is no need to rush, it’s better to let it warm up thoroughly, you can check by dropping a little dough onto the bottom surface. If the dough is prepared as it should, then you can start cooking. Don't forget to grease the surfaces of the waffle iron with oil.

Pour 1-2 tablespoons of dough onto the bottom surface. The exact amount is determined by experiment. If you pour a lot, the dough will run slightly over the edges, and you can carefully remove it with a knife. If you pour too little, the waffle will not fill the entire area of ​​the waffle iron. It's not scary, it'll just be a small tube.

Making the first test

So, pour the dough, close the waffle iron and press it by the handles.

Carefully! – at this moment hot steam flies out of the waffle iron, so put an oven mitt on your hand.

We hold it a little, and then you can let it go and let it bake. One waffle is baked from 20-30 seconds to 1.5-3 minutes, depending on the power and settings of your waffle iron. To find out if it’s ready, open the waffle iron slightly and look in... It’s still pale, which means you need to hold it for a couple more minutes.

Each waffle iron takes a little getting used to, so usually the first waffles turn out to be test ones.

As soon as our waffle is ready, we act quickly, since ready-made waffles quickly harden and become brittle. Use a knife or spatula to pry up the waffle, transfer it from the waffle iron to a board or plate and quickly, while still soft, roll it into a tube.

This is how we twist it

Be careful, the waffle is hot. After twisting the wafer roll, hold it for a few seconds to prevent it from unwinding.

A delicious recipe for Viennese waffles.

The waffles are very tasty, but you also need a different waffle iron. But if you pour honey or chocolate over them, you get a simply awesome dish, and this base also produces delicious cakes.

The cooking principle is the same for everyone, so now we will briefly describe the recipes for the waffle iron.

Ingredients:

  • Egg - 3 pcs.;
  • Sugar - 120 g;
  • Milk - 250 g;
  • Butter (high fat content) - 1 pack;
  • Flour - 330 g;
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon;

  • Potato starch - 40 g;
  • Flour - 140 g;
  • Milk - 120 ml;
  • Sugar - 130 g;
  • Margarine (butter) - 1/2 pack.

Flour is sifted through a sieve along with starch.

Lightly beat the eggs with sugar until the latter dissolves. Warm milk is poured into the sweet egg mass.

The margarine is melted, cooled slightly and added to the liquid mixture.

With constant stirring, flour and starch are added to the dough. The mass should be semi-liquid.

Sounds amazing, doesn't it? This recipe is similar to potato pancakes, only they are much thinner. It turns out very tasty and besides, if you make thin waffles, they turn out like chips, in an original way.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes - 2 pcs.;
  • Sour cream - 75 g;
  • Egg - 1 pc.;
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon;
  • Spices to taste;
  • Flour - 20 g;
  • Starch - 10 g.

Peel the potatoes. We grate the tubers on a fine grater so that the waffles are well baked. Squeeze out excess juices and transfer to a bowl.

Add egg and sour cream, stir.

Pepper, salt, add sour cream. The fat content of the product does not matter, nor does the thickness. If the sour cream is liquid, you can add more flour.

  • Butter - 50 g;
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon;
  • Honey - 4 tablespoons;
  • Chopped almonds - 1 teaspoon.

Melt the butter. Add honey to it, stir to dissolve and cool the mass.

Following the honey, add a glass of milk, and then break the eggs. Shake until the mass becomes homogeneous.
