How to draw Pokemon. How to easily and beautifully draw Pikachu step by step with a pencil for beginners

We all have memories in our minds of the cute Pokemon we all loved as children. After the release of Pokemon Go, these memories came back to life, and everyone's favorite characters became popular again. Let's learn how to draw the famous Pikachu.

If you can draw this character without any problems and want to draw the rest of the characters, then we recommend watching a video with instructions for drawing Jigglypuff.

Let's start drawing the Pokemon Pikachu step by step with a simple pencil.
1. To begin with, draw out the right ear, as shown in the figure.

2. Next, we finish drawing the left ear, crown and cheeks. Don't forget that Pikachu has cute chubby cheeks that should be drawn voluminous. Draw the left ear at a slightly different angle than the right. It is more clearly demonstrated in the figure.

3. We begin to draw the torso.

4. Then add the paws on one side. We remember that Pikachu moves on all 4 legs, so we will call them front and back.

5. In the same way, draw the front leg on the other side.

7. Now draw a joyful smile.

8. Finish drawing the cheeks. Let's make them rosy.

And in this you will learn how to draw a Pokemon step by step. Typically these creatures are made up of simple shapes and are highly stylized, making this a great tutorial for beginning artists.

Over the course of the lesson, we will draw three Pokemon that differ in difficulty level: Butterfree, Pikachu and Charizard.

Necessary materials

If you're painting on a tablet, you'll only need two coats and a brush. In the case of a traditional drawing, we need paper, a pencil for the sketch and something to trace the final outline (marker, liner, etc.). When working with a pencil, do not press hard on the paper; the lines should be light. Also, if you want to simplify the task a little, reduce the scale of the drawing - this will make it easier for you to maintain proportions.

How to draw Pikachu

Step 1

We start with two squares located horizontally. If you have a well-developed eye, you can do without a ruler.

Step 2

Draw a circle inside each square.

Step 3

Then inside the squares we draw two crossed lines in the shape of an X.

Step 4

Draw a vertical line through the center of both squares.

Step 5

Now draw horizontal lines in the center of each square. Then draw a horizontal line under the bottom square.

Step 6

On the bottom square we draw Pikachu’s hips in the form of two ovals.

Step 7

Step 8

Between the two squares we draw two small circles - these will be the shoulders.

Step 9

We draw two lines - this is the basis for the hands.

Step 10

Add volume.

Step 11

We finish the hand with a rounded hand with fingers.

Step 12

We will place all facial features inside the rectangle shown below.

Step 13

Draw a horizontal line just below the center of the rectangle.

Step 14

Draw round cheeks.

Step 15

Draw eyes in the upper corners of the rectangle. Make them slightly oval to make the character look cuter.

Step 16

Adding highlights to the eyes.

Step 17

Draw the mouth and nose.

Step 18

At the top of the head we draw two small circles - this is the basis for the ears.

Step 19

Adding length...

...and volume.

Step 20

Then we draw the base of the tail.

Step 21

Add several lines parallel to the base of the tail and one long line at the tip.

Step 22

Draw horizontal lines tapering towards the base of the tail.

Step 23

The sketch is ready! Now take a marker or liner and draw the final outline.

Step 24

To prevent the drawing from looking too flat, make the outer contour a little wider.

How to draw Pokemon Butterfree

Step 1

We start with a wide, slightly inclined drop. This will be Butterfree's torso.

Step 2

Add a larger circle for the head.

Step 3

Then we add two elongated ovals for the legs. We make the right figure a little longer.

Step 4

We've sketched out the base for the body and now we're drawing the curves for the wings...

...and enclose them in drop-shaped shapes.

Step 5

In the same way we draw the lower wings.

Step 6

I think Butterfree only has two pairs of wings? That's right! We connect two pairs of upper wings to get the final shape.

Step 7

Having finished with the main silhouette, we can move on to the details. Draw two tilted ovals for the eyes.

Step 8

Two small circles on the body for the arms.

Step 9

Add fingers using zigzag lines on the hands.

Step 10

Draw the mouth in the form of a circle.

Step 11

Divide the circle with a curved horizontal line.

Step 12

Below the line we add two small fangs.

Step 13

We draw mustaches on the head.

Step 14

Using additional ovals we detail the eyes.

Step 15

Draw a pattern on the wings:

Step 16

Butterfree sketch is ready! Now we outline the outline with a dark color.

Step 17

Fill in some details with a dark color to make the drawing look more contrasting.

Step 18

We make the thickness of the outer contour a little wider, so the drawing will be more interesting.

Drawing Charizard

Step 1

We start with a large circle. This will be Charizard's lower torso.

Step 2

Add a small circle on top and get a snowman.

Step 3

Above we draw a line and add another circle - this will be the neck and head.

Step 4

At the bottom of the large circle we draw the hips.

Step 5

Draw a horizontal line on which the Pokemon will stand.

Step 6

Draw oval feet.

Step 7

On the upper part of the body we add two circles.

Step 8

Draw the base of the hands.

Step 9

Add a circle base for the elbows and hands.

Step 10

On each hand we draw three circles - these will be the fingers.

Step 11

Draw the face.

Step 12

We draw a horizontal curved line in the center of the head, trying to show volume.

Step 13

Draw the base for the wings.

Step 14

Draw the base of the tail.

Step 15

To ensure that the tail has a uniform thickness, add circles along its entire length. We start with the largest one at the base of the tail and end with the smallest one at the tip.

Step 16

Let's move on to the details of the muzzle. Draw a heart-shaped figure.

Step 17

Add nostrils.

Step 18

Draw the mouth.

Step 19

Add fangs.

Step 20

Then the top of the muzzle.

Step 21

Drawing eyebrows.

Step 22

Then we draw typical anime style eyes.

Step 23

We draw horns.

Step 24

Draw the outline of the eyebrows.

Step 25

We draw claws.

Step 26

Add circles on the wings, legs and feet to better convey the volume when tracing with a marker.

Step 27

Draw a flame on the tail.

Step 28

The sketch is ready and now we can outline our Charizard with a marker.

Step 29

Don't forget to make the outer outline thicker to make the drawing look more interesting.

Pikachu is a famous Pokemon character. All babies and children love this funny and cute image. It has a very simple shape and you can draw it easily. Many of you don't need this drawing lesson and many kids can draw Pikachu without step by step instructions. But We know that with these drawing tips you will be able to draw its shape and proportions more accurately.

Try to draw Pokemon Pikachu!

Step 1

The first step of drawing Pokemon is very simple. You need to draw sketch outlines for the head (circle) and add two vertical lines. They are the boundaries of Pikachu's body.

Step 2

Now you need to add small circles to the ends of these lines. They will help you draw your legs. Add two very small balls to the Pokemon's head and draw two short horizontal lines (arms).

Step 3

At this stage you should add outlines for the ears and legs.

Step 4

This step is more difficult. You should draw the general outline of Pikachu's body and head, ears, arms and legs.

Step 5

Take a sharp pencil and trace this preliminary diagram.
At the end you need to draw the tail and move on to the next step.

Step 6

Now you need to remove the unnecessary lines and loops and draw the actual lines for Pikachu's face.

Step 7

At this stage you must choose how to draw the last stage. This Pokemon drawing is done with a #2 pencil, but if you prefer to use colored pencils, your drawing can look even more fun and cute.

Hi all! Today we will be drawing Pikachu, one of the most recognizable fictional characters in the world. Pikachu is the central character of the animated series "Pokemon", which was incredibly popular in the early 2000s all over the world.

Step 1

First, let's draw the outlines of the body and head of our Pokemon. He, like many other charming cartoons, has a head that is somewhat wider than the body, although a little less in length. Of course, these proportions are very, very far from where the head accounts for approximately the seventh or eighth (depending on height) part of the body.

Step 2

Great, now let's outline the ears - one, as you can see, lies almost horizontally, and the second vertically. We will also outline the contours of the paws, which are similar in shape to the ears we just drew, only not so pointed. Here we will mark Pikachu’s face with a pair of lines - one, as usual, will indicate vertical symmetry, and the second will tell us in the future where to draw the eyes.

Step 3

Still, Pikachu was invented by brilliant, brilliant designers, true masters of their craft. He came out very sweet, charming, and, most importantly, memorable. And now we must convey precisely these qualities, which are mainly reflected in the way the character's face looks. By the way, Wikipedia says that Pikachu is . It’s not very similar, to be honest - such a mouse doesn’t eat and doesn’t frighten with its appearance, but Pikachu can pronounce its own name and give an electric shock.

So, we draw the eyes (just two circles, focusing on both facial lines), then the nose (a small inverted triangle), the mouth (well, it’s quite simple) and the blush (a couple more circles).

Step 4

We check once again whether everything is correct in terms of proportions and location of individual parts of the body and face. If everything is in perfect order, we erase the extra guide lines, mark the toes on the paws, draw a tail (it consists of straight lines and sharp corners, a little sharper than a straight one) and clean up the entire drawing so that we get something like this silhouette:

Step 5

We paint over the black areas with a soft, simple pencil - the eyes and the tips of the ears, and be sure to leave unpainted white highlights on the eyes. Also here you have to do work with shadows, although very, very simple (if you want to work with shadows in a more complex way, try taking a look). First, we outline the contours of the shadows, and then shade them with a single-layer oblique hatching with not very strong intensity.

This was a drawing lesson in which we told you how to draw Pikachu step by step with a pencil. In general, the lesson turned out to be one of the simplest in dedicated to the characters of animated series. If your Pikachu differs too much from our final sample, be sure to check each step of your work with our steps to identify and correct the error, since there are not many steps here and you can correct a defect in any step.

And we say goodbye to you until the next drawing lesson, bye everyone!

Pikachu has become so popular in Japan that it has become almost a symbol of the country's pop culture. It is worth noting that Pikachu is considered a real Japanese Mickey Mouse. This character is present in almost all games, anime and manga about Pokemon. Moreover, Pikachu is a popular character for creating souvenirs, images on T-shirts, caps and other clothing. Pikachu in Japan is the same symbol as in our country, for example, a matryoshka doll. In this regard, many are interested in how to draw this Pokemon. Next, we made a step-by-step lesson especially for you, following the rules of which you can learn how to draw Pikachu and do it later without unnecessary difficulties. This character is quite simple to depict, but it is worth remembering the main features and distinctive features of this Pokemon so that the drawing turns out correct and recognizable.

Before you start step by step lesson, it is worth knowing the characteristic features of this Pokemon. Although it is believed that the prototype of Pikachu is a mouse, it still looks more like a squirrel or a rabbit. Pikachu is a fictional yellow squirrel-like animal with long ears. The tips of the ears are always painted black. There are bright red circles on the cheeks (in these circles Pikachu accumulates an electrical charge for defense and attack). Pikachu has three stripes on its back. Another characteristic attribute of Pikachu is its long tail, which looks like a broken line, but is simply a symbol of lightning, since Pikachu is an Electric-type Pokemon.

How to draw Pikachu. Step by step lesson.

1. Draw a circle and divide it with two intersecting lines. We will place the elements of the Pokemon's face relative to these lines.

2. Outline the body of the Pokemon - add a second circle, expanding downwards. We will also outline the eyes, which are located in the two upper “cells,” as well as the upper part of the mouth or upper lip, which is forked, like a rabbit or hare. Pay special attention to the arrangement of elements relative to the lines.

3. Add two small circles inside the eyes - these are not pupils, but highlights. Add a line of the nose just above the mouth. We finish drawing the mouth - adding the lower part and the shape of the tongue. At the bottom we add two oval elements - these are the lower legs of Pikachu.

4. Draw the Pokemon ears. Pikachu's ears are long, like a rabbit's. The tips of the ears are black, so let’s immediately denote them by highlighting them. We draw two more ovals - the front paws or arms of Pikachu.

5. At this stage, draw two circles on the pokemon’s cheeks. We will also designate the broken line of the tail. In addition, here we will add the stripes that are on Pikachu’s back. Since the Pokemon is facing us, we will denote the lines with two small triangles. On the hind legs we will mark the lines of the toes.

6. At this stage we will finish the tail by connecting the lower and upper parts. On the front paws we will add zigzag lines - fingers. Let's work on the toes on the hind legs.

7. Here we will add a zigzag line to the tail - this is where the dark line on the back ends, which also includes the tail. On the chest we will draw a triangle - the shadow of the head. We will also mark the continuation of the paws below with two lines.

8. The schematic part is completed and now we begin to develop it. Shade the tips of the ears and eyes.

9. Final part. We erase all the extra lines that were used for construction. Our Pokemon Pikachu is ready. All that remains is to paint over the Pokemon with colored pencils or paints, if desired.
