This game is characterized by a darkness of the universe uncharacteristic of the genre, a huge tree of passive skills (or rather, a whole labyrinth in the shape of a disk) and an honestly stolen system of gems in items borrowed from Diablo. This MMORPG allows you to make anyone into a hero: an armored mage, a trickster witch, a duelist with the option of throwing fireballs. For each ability granted by stones in objects, you can attach a couple of additional ones, and the number of combinations is in the hundreds. Locations here are generated automatically, and the characteristics of objects are randomly generated, in the best traditions of the genre. Distinctive feature Path of Exile is a group of racing leagues run as separate servers with their own economy and ratings. These massive events do not allow players to relax and greatly fuel the desire to go through already familiar acts again and again.
2. Albion Online
A game grandiose in its scale and ambitions. A full loot system, total PvP and the same total crafting of everything, a free economy and the opportunity to buy your own island - this is just small part what this top-down “sandbox” offers. One of the main advantages of the game is the well-thought-out mechanics of clan wars. These are not just banal fights for fun, these are full-fledged feudal battles for land, control of trade routes and economic power. The game uses a system of safety zones familiar from EVE Online, within which the world of Albion Online is divided into several sectors: green, yellow and red (the so-called royal lands) with restrictions on PvP, and black or Provincial lands, where there are no laws at all.
1.Diablo 3
Licked to a shine, this team game still sets the standard in the isometric MMORPG genre. If you're looking for a thrill, if you like endless character progression, if you can click 300 times a minute, then Diablo 3 is the best the gaming industry has to offer. Here the concept of “meat” (in the gaming sense) is elevated to an absolute: the dynamics of the destruction of monsters is so high that it can cause an attack of epilepsy even in healthy person. Add to this a global auction of items, harsh PvP and a swashbuckling plot, and you have the perfect Action-MMO, true to the traditions of the legendary series.
Notes for the future
Two promising projects are set to hit the stage in 2018. The first is the former Lineage Eternal: Twilight Resistance, the successor of the first Lineage (at least in terms of plot), which, after an unsuccessful start to the closed beta, was sent for processing. The updated game received working title Project TL, dressed in new textures on Unreal Engine 4 and instead of heroes (the so-called Eternals) it took the familiar class system as a basis. The publishing house NCSoft emphasizes that this is a completely new project that borrows the best developments from the original. In Project TL, players will enjoy the same isometric view, traditional hack`n`slash with mass destruction of monsters, destructible environments and a weather system.
The second is Lost Ark Online, a Korean MMO with an isometric view, which already in beta tests demonstrates an amazing level of graphics and extremely action-packed combat. The heroes here cut up dozens of monsters, stopping only at large bosses. There is no shortage of PvE, including group ones, where to overcome obstacles in the form of particularly large guys you need a full combat kit: a tank, a healer and a couple of damage dealers. The game has locations where free PvP is allowed, and there are arenas to sort out the relationship between in small groups. The developers of Lost Ark Online plan to release the game in all regions, including Russia, but the exact release date is unknown. The PTA is in full swing in Korea, so you can focus on the second half of 2018.
Not many people will be able to remember the space shooter “Space Invaders”, which appeared in 1978 on thousands of arcade machines.
