Road work on the Avtozavodsky bridge.

The major overhaul of the Nagatinsky Bridge is part of the work to develop the infrastructure of the Southern Administrative District.

"In the city behind last years built and reconstructed about 240 engineering structures. These are bridges, overpasses, tunnels. The Nagatinsky Bridge is one of the most complex engineering structures built more than 40 years ago, and, of course, requires serious reconstruction. It includes lanes for car traffic, a metro bridge, and a whole bunch of main communications. I hope that during this year the main work on the bridge will be completed and normal traffic will be restored,” he said during the inspection. All work on the site is planned to be completed in 2017.

In 2011-2015, 239 bridges, overpasses and tunnels were built, repaired and put in order in Moscow. This is 4.5 times more than in the previous five-year period. From 2006 to 2010, five bridges were repaired and 48 artificial road transport structures were built.

In 2016-2018, it is planned to build 90 artificial road transport structures and repair three bridges: Nagatinsky, Avtozavodsky (TTK) and Kosino (MKAD).

Repair in two stages

The Nagatinsky Bridge was built in 1969. It is designed for the movement of cars and metro trains of the Zamoskvoretskaya line.

Its length is 805 meters, the width of the roadway is 23 meters, the width of the sidewalks is 2.6 meters each. There are three lanes for car traffic in each direction.

In the underpass space of the bridge under the Kozhukhovskaya overpass is the 13th bus depot of Mosgortrans, and under the Nagatinskaya overpass is the base of the Gormost State Budgetary Institution.

The decision to overhaul the overpass was made due to wear and tear individual elements and structures: subsidence of supports, sagging of subway beams, depressurization of expansion joints, destruction of asphalt concrete pavement, and others. This is the result of long-term, ultra-intensive use.

Active work on the overhaul of the Nagatinsky Bridge began in 2015. The first start-up complex involves the repair of the road part (June 2015 - February 2017), the second - the repair of the metro bridge (May - December 2016).

During the work on the roadway, the bridge covering will be replaced and repaired. bearing structures, sidewalk and staircases, fencing will be made, and the engineering infrastructure will be modernized.

As part of the overhaul of the metro bridge, work is planned to strengthen existing elements and structures, and the architectural and artistic lighting of the Nagatinsky Bridge will be repaired.

To date, one third of the work at the site has been completed. The repairs are being carried out without blocking vehicle traffic, with a temporary reduction in the number of lanes from three to two in each direction.

Bridges, overpasses and overpasses

In just five years, 118 artificial road transport structures (bridges, overpasses and overpasses) were built in Moscow.

Completed major renovation 11 road transport structures:

— Maly Ustinsky Bridge over the Yauza River;

— overpass Varshavsky — MKAD (33rd kilometer);

— overpass at the intersection of Leningradskoye Shosse and Oktyabrskaya railway(25th kilometer of Leningradskoye Highway);

- Khovrino - Borisovo bridge;

— Rostokinsky-3 bridge;

— transport tunnel Gagarinsky-1;

— Tekstilshchiki-1 overpass;

— Saikinsky-1 — TTK overpass;

— Vladychino — Krutitsy — MKAD overpass;

— Tagansky transport tunnel;

— Oktyabrsky transport tunnel.

In addition, in 2012-2015, expansion joints were repaired on 110 transport structures with a total length of 12.8 kilometers. These works increase the comfort and safety of vehicle traffic on bridges and overpasses.

Pedestrian crossings

In total, 140 off-street buildings were built in Moscow between 2011 and 2015. A major overhaul of 156 crossings was carried out, including those combined with metro exits.

Thus, over five years, 296 underground pedestrian crossings were built and overhauled in the city.

Compared to 2006-2010, the volume of work has increased sixfold. Over the previous five years, nine crossings were repaired and 39 were built.

Plans for 2016-2018 include the construction of 50 and major repairs of 180 pedestrian crossings.
