Pavel Dmitrichenko got married in prison. Dmitrichenko, who served time for an acid attack, returned to the Bolshoi Theater

Choreographer Sergei Filin interfered in the personal life of ballerina Angelina Vorontsova. He demanded that she break up with Pavel Dmitrichenko, hinting that only after this would development begin in her career. Angelina Vorontsova herself stated this on.

“He said that Dmitrichenko is an inconvenient character, that if I am with him, there will be no advancement,” Interfax quotes Angelina Vorontsova. In addition, the ballerina noted, Filin had long been offended by her for choosing Grand Theatre, and not the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater.

Vorontsova emphasized that when Filin moved to the Bolshoi Theater, her position changed: she was removed from the Paris tour and began to give solo roles less often. At the same time, the ballerina emphasized that there were no major conflicts in the theater. “You can call it conflicts, but these are more work-related issues,” she explained former ballerina Bolshoi Theater.

At the same time, she emphasized that her partner Pavel Dmitrichenko, who is accused of organizing the acid attack on Filin, never showed aggression.

“Pasha is an ambitious person, he could stand up for the person who was offended. He did not show aggression,” she noted.

Former Bolshoi Theater premier Nikolai Tsiskaridze also testified in court. Tsiskaridze admitted that he does not believe that Pavel Dmitrichenko is guilty.

Nikolai Tsiskaridze told in court that he had more than once been an involuntary witness provoked by Filin. “Once I witnessed an ugly scene that took place in the corridor. Sergei Yuryevich Filin patronized one performance, he had a couple. But Grigorovich chose Dmitrichenko and Anna Nikulina. Dmitrichenko was called to Filin. Pasha flew out of there, followed by abuse. Sergei Yuryevich spoke very ugly words: “I’ll show you, I’ll pull you,” Nikolai Tsiskaridze said in court.

Nikolai Tsiskaridze recalled that he worked at the Bolshoi Theater for 21 years and has known Filin since 1987. He admitted that he considers Filin a brilliant dancer. In his opinion, having become the choreographer of the Bolshoi Theater troupe, Filin has changed a lot. In particular, he immediately told people who had known him for many years to only call him Sergei Yuryevich. Filin was also against the appointment of actor Pavel Dmitrichenko to the position of head of the trade union, despite the fact that the latter always stood up for the rights of actors.

According to investigators, the attack on Filin was organized by ballet dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko. The executor of the criminal plan was Yuri Zarutsky, and Andrei Lipatov, a 32-year-old unemployed man from the Moscow region, took him to the scene of the crime.

At the same time, the attack on the Bolshoi Theater choreographer Sergei Filin was initially planned for the end of autumn 2012, but unsuccessful.

Dmitrichenko immediately after his arrest testified that he offered 35-year-old Yuri Zarutsky, who had previously been convicted, to beat up the choreographer for 50 thousand rubles. Zarutsky agreed.

The attack on Sergei Filin took place in Moscow on Troitskaya Street on January 17, 2013. An owl had acid thrown in his face in the parking lot near his house. The attack resulted in partial loss of vision.

Pavel Dmitrichenko. Scene from the ballet “Ivan the Terrible” staged by Yuri Grigorovich

The operatic part of the Bolshoi Theater troupe invited dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko (remember, he spent three years in prison on charges of organizing an assassination attempt on the former artistic director of the ballet troupe, Sergei Filin) to head the creative union of BT workers.

Pavel told us about his plans in a new capacity, as well as his views on the current theater, in an exclusive interview.

- So, Pavel, you were elected head of the trade union, if I call the position correctly...

Chairman of the creative trade union of Bolshoi Theater workers.

- A few words - what will be your responsibilities?

This is important for the artists themselves: apparently, it’s overdue internal problems, if they turned to me for help... I am now far from any of their internal problems, but the meeting was two weeks ago, they told me about these problems, and now they need my help from a legal point of view.

Because the theater management sometimes does not comply with its own accepted rules, which were prescribed in the collective agreement. And now there are a lot of problems in the opera troupe. And I'm always open to help, people love me Hard time supported, and I am also ready to support my colleagues as chairman.

—Did you continue to remain an employee of the Bolshoi Theater all this time? Has this line been interrupted?

Interrupted. The trade union is a different structure, it is independent and is in to a greater extent supervisory authority over the employer. As for the theater, I did not return to it for one simple reason: I have not seen such a boorish attitude towards artists for a long time. I promised myself that I would return to the profession only under the leadership of Nikolai Tsiskaridze.

Yes, but you appeared at the Bolshoi in the summer at a concert, in a number from “ Swan Lake"with the part of Prince Siegfried...

The fact that I appeared on this stage can be called a return to the profession. But, I repeat, I will return to the theater only under the leadership of Tsiskaridze, since only he has experience communicating with the team, has excellent taste - who to invite from ballet and opera directors...

Only with him is the flourishing of the Bolshoi Theater possible. It's my opinion.

- So, what exactly happened that you were called?

The rights of artists began to be infringed. I was lying with a fever, I didn’t know it myself, but the artists initiated a meeting, and just yesterday I was informed that I had been elected. And now I am ready to help them.

Trade unions in our country are historically not as strong as, say, in the West. It was always more of a decoration. But will your trade union have real power?

Yes, our trade unions are not at all the same as European ones. But if usually trade unions were headed by people dependent on the employer, then I am precisely an independent person. I have no interests or fears regarding the management of the Bolshoi Theater. Therefore, I will strictly act within the framework of the law, strictly within the framework of the collective agreement, which the employers themselves accepted. There are a lot of shortcomings. I know about them. Now we are compiling statistics and will demand the implementation of legislative acts in the area of labor legislation.

- So what is the nature of the problem?

The main problem is that the workers of the opera group, on the basis of the contract, do not receive additional work that the employer is obliged to provide them. That is, it is easier for the Bolshoi management to invite someone from outside to a contract rather than involve its own employees. And we will ensure that people have jobs. No joke: full-time employees opera troupe are sitting without work!

- Does the ballet troupe have the same problem?

I have not yet met with union members, but I think the problem is everywhere. Therefore, in the next two weeks I will meet with the ballet company and discuss their problems with them. In any case, I am ready to defend them. I'll be happy to help.

Remember, the Moscow Art Theater was once divided into Chekhov and Gorky precisely because the troupe was too bloated. Isn't there something like this at the Bolshoi?

No, the Bolshoi troupe is not exaggerated. Moreover, it is stated by the employer himself how much work he is obliged to provide to his employees, and how much he is not obliged to do. And our task is neither to fight nor to build any barricades, but simply to achieve the rule of law. Because in this moment the collective agreement is violated. This is a violation of the law. We will have a dialogue with...

- ...with General Director Urin?

Yes. Dialogue about his compliance with labor standards. There will be appeals addressed to Urin regarding pressing issues. If management starts a dialogue - hears and admits its violations - then the problem will be quickly resolved.

- And if not?

If not, then a commission will meet, and if we don’t decide through it, we’ll go to court. Why did the guys call me: naturally, people have a fear of their employer. But I have no fear, and never have had it. That's why I became chairman.

- So, in the near future you will recover and hold meetings?

First, we will notify the higher organization - the trade union of cultural workers - that I have been elected. Next, we will notify the employer, that is, General Director Urin, officially (I think he already knows). And then we’ll start working, that’s all...

- And you and Urin? Lately did you communicate at all? Everything is fine?

The last time we communicated was last summer, it was normal communication, there were no counters, there were no problems...

- Can you - this is of interest to many - go on stage as a dancer?

Well, last summer I went on stage, then an injury happened - I treated my knee for a long time. Now the treatment is still in progress, and my profession as a dancer has been put on pause for now. But I didn’t officially finish my career.

- A pause, but temporary?

To this day - yes, temporary.

- How difficult was it to keep yourself in shape at the time of imprisonment and after? Is this theoretically possible?

Theoretically this is impossible. And I couldn’t keep myself in shape. It was difficult to get into this form later. I had enough fortitude. But you can’t fool the body. When this getting into shape happened, of course, there was wild pain in the ligaments and joints. I was on painkillers. But the goal was set, and the goal was achieved.

- But let’s return: according to your forecast, will the problem of the opera troupe be solved?

According to my forecast, any problem can be solved through dialogue. If two people sit down - one intelligent and the other not stupid - they will come to a common decision. They will always find a way out. And if the interlocutor is dominated by some kind of ambition, some kind of significance, a desire to show that you are nobody to me, and I myself can do everything, then, of course, it will be difficult to agree on something.

But I hope that all smart people will find a way out... because when the team is dissatisfied, it can spill over beyond the theater. We will try to solve this internally. Calmly. Quiet. Legally correct.

The last question is - in what capacity does the Bolshoi Theater exist now? He's on the rise, he's stable, what's wrong with him?

If we take twelve years of my work, I can say briefly: it was better. I have something to compare with. This is without going into details. What I saw over the years of my work at the Bolshoi (meaning both the opera and ballet repertoire) was better. The fact that now is not the best period of the Bolshoi’s life.

-Have you seen “Nureyev”?

I saw it in fragments. In short: a ballet created out of scandal. Although the guys all worked 100%, they are great, they work like that in any situation, the Bolshoi troupe is considered the best in the whole world. And it will always be like this. And what is the essence of the performance - according to taste and color... some people like a naked man on the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, others consider it enchanting art. Some people think that the Bolshoi is a pure classic.

But I think that the Bolshoi stage is not experimental scene, these are established canons... the dancer Nuriev himself became famous not for what the directors tried to show, but for his talent. And the personal life of each of us is our personal life, there is no need to show it on stage.

On May thirty-first, the following entry appeared on Pavel’s Facebook page: “Thank you to everyone who supported me! Yours kind hearts were a beacon of hope on a difficult road... See you, friends.” On this day, the leading artist of the Bolshoi Theater Dmitrichenko, convicted in the case of the attack on Sergei Filin, was released.

I spent three years in prison: the court decided to release ahead of schedule. Fortunately, I managed to survive, despite attempts on the part of those who imprisoned me to do everything to destroy the person they disliked. Indeed, everything that does not kill us makes us stronger. Now I know - these are not just words. If you are given a test, you need to pass it with dignity.

I found myself in Moscow again, next to my parents, friends, my beloved, the most beautiful wife in the world. I don’t hold a grudge against anyone, although I consider myself punished for nothing. I let go of this situation. But my release from prison was greeted very violently. Sergei Filin’s lawyer said in a television interview that I was released illegally: “Dmitrichenko should sit. If he doesn’t admit his guilt, then he’s dangerous!” After such statements, their legal illiteracy simply makes me laugh. I know perfectly well who is behind this whole story, but I do not feel a sense of hatred and thirst for revenge. There is only one question: why were three years of my life stolen from me?

This happened on January seventeenth, 2013. Half an hour later, all TV channels, radio and the Internet exploded: “The Bolshoi Theater artistic director Sergei Filin had sulfuric acid thrown in his face!”, “Filin has burns on his face!”, “An attempt was made on Filin’s life!” The story, like a real thriller, was acquiring more and more new details, versions, and guesses. The journalists reacted with such lightning speed, as if they were sitting in ambush in the snowdrifts of the dark courtyard where the attack took place.

The Bolshoi Theater the next day resembled a military headquarters - behind the scenes there were many television cameras from all over the world. Journalists rushed to cover the high-profile criminal scandal. Endless press conferences, interviews, ballet dancers were confused and depressed... Everyone was racing to build versions: someone said that this was revenge, someone believed that this was how they wanted to take the artistic director’s chair, many were sure - “Cherche la femme” ”, there was even such an assumption - was it not the theater management itself that organized all this? Very quickly, literally from the first minutes, the attack began on Nikolai Tsiskaridze. Filin, who went to Germany for treatment, said in an interview with Der Spiegel: “Tsiskaridze should be in prison!” This had the effect of a bomb exploding. The world-famous dancer was summoned for questioning and was pursued by the media. In an interview, Nikolai said: “This is bullying. I’m sure the incident with Filin is an action planned against me.” Really wild!

My part of the story began almost three months later. Lived before this ordinary life. I went to the Benois de la Danse festival in Italy. He didn’t hide from anyone, didn’t hide. But he could have stayed abroad and not returned...

On March 5, at five in the morning, a bell rang in the apartment on Tverskaya that I was renting. There are seven on the threshold, among them an investigator who came to the Bolshoi Theater: “We will conduct a search and look for material evidence.”

Pavel Dmitrichenko was born into a family of dancers - his parents performed at the State academic ensemble folk dance; It was at the behest of his parents that Pavel himself took up dancing. Dmitrichenko himself did not have a particular love for dancing as a child, but he indeed demonstrated quite good abilities.

After graduating from the Moscow Academy of Choreography, Pavel entered the Bolshoi Theater troupe. Initially, Dmitrichenko planned to stay at the Bolshoi – and in ballet in general – for at most two years; during these two years, however, Pavel managed to achieve quite impressive results and decided to stay on stage.

Young Dmitrichenko was called an extremely talented and promising dancer; he regularly received leading roles in fairly large and prestigious productions. By 2011, Dmitrichenko became, in fact, the leading soloist of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater.

V Bolshoi Dmitrichenko met the ballerina Angelina Vorontsova. There is no official confirmation of the numerous rumors about the alleged romance between them, however, many of the dancer’s acquaintances are inclined to believe that these rumors still had some basis.

Vorontsova’s career was not as good as Dmitrichenko’s; in 2009, the ballerina’s mentor, Ekaterina Maksimova, died, after which Angelina went “under the wing” of Nikolai Tsiskaridze. Alas, this cooperation did not produce much fruit; some are inclined to believe that Vorontsova could have achieved much more speaking under the supervision of a female teacher. According to one version, it was the relatively low class demonstrated by Angelina in her last performances that became the reason for her conflict with Sergei Filin; another version says that Filin disliked Vorontsova back in 2009, when she refused

I want to join his troupe. One way or another, Vorontsova’s relationship with Filin did not work out somewhat.

Late in the evening of January 17, 2013, Sergei Filin was attacked - an unknown person threw acid in his face. Popular rumor almost immediately made Nikolai Tsiskaridze the main suspect, who often criticized the management of the theater and former head Vorontsova. Soon, however, the investigation established that on the evening of January 17, someone Yuri Zarutsky called Pavel Dmitrichenko from Filin’s house. Zarutsky had already been convicted several times and seemed quite a suitable candidate for carrying out this kind of assassination attempt. Later, the investigation turned its attention to another telephone interlocutor of Zarutsky - a certain Andrei Lipatov.

On the night of March 5-6, Zarutsky, Lipatov and Dmitrichenko were detained. All three confessed immediately; as it turned out, the first

actually carried out the attack, the second acted as its driver. Dmitrichenko admitted that he “ordered” Filin, although he made the reservation that the attack did not go as he planned. The most likely motive is considered to be resentment for Vorontsova being unfairly oppressed - acquaintances described Dmitrichenko as an extremely impulsive, temperamental person and quite capable of something of this kind solely for the sake of revenge alone.

Lawyers argue that Pavel Dmitrichenko has certain chances of avoiding imprisonment - with some effort, his lawyers can reduce the case to a less serious charge; What plays into their hands, first of all, is that the injuries Owl received were far from fatal. Pavel's ballet career, however, is over with almost one hundred percent probability - and no innate abilities will be able to return Dmitrichenko to the stage.

Three years ago, choreographer Sergei Filin was attacked in the center of Moscow. The unknown person threw sulfuric acid in his face and disappeared. Artistic director Bolshoi Theater was hospitalized with burns to his face and eyes. Filin underwent more than 20 operations, and his vision was saved. Now Sergei remembers that fateful evening as if it were a terrible dream.

The investigation lasted a long time and was scandalous. As a result, in a criminal case for an attack on Filin, he was sentenced to six years in prison in a colony strict regime Bolshoi Theater soloist Pavel Dmitrichenko was sentenced. The 32-year-old artist denied his guilt, but the court remained adamant.

Three weeks ago former soloist Bolshoi Theater was released early. The Ryazan regional court made such a decision in favor of Pavel for his exemplary behavior, positive characterization, seven incentives “for conscientious work” and compliance with the regime. Dmitrichenko continues to insist that he was the victim of a conspiracy, and promises that one day he will write a book of memoirs about the tragedy that occurred.

“I haven’t settled scores with Filin before, and even more so, I’m not going to do it now. Although I know that I served three years undeservedly,” Pavel said after his release. - I know how, who and why I was imprisoned. When the time comes, I’ll probably talk about this. While I was in prison, I kept a diary where I recorded in detail the facts of this story. Perhaps someday I’ll write a book based on these notes.”

Let us recall that after Dmitrichenko was accused of attacking Filin, young artist there was a support group in in social networks. More than four hundred fans of his talent and friends shared the news with each other and encouraged the artist as best they could. However, the main discovery for Pavel was a girl, the relationship with whom developed rapidly, despite any difficulties. According to « Komsomolskaya Pravda» , the lovers formalized their relationship right in the colony.

“I have officially signed,” Dmitrichenko confirmed the information about the bright event. - I knew my wife Yana even before this story happened to me. She is a fashion designer and has nothing to do with ballet. It’s just that in prison we began to communicate more often. We were given a few visiting days almost every month.”

Now the artist is in excellent shape and ready to work. In prison he did push-ups and exercises. It is possible that Pavel Dmitrichenko will return to the Bolshoi Theater.
