And, of course, the bright and provocative outfits of the singers, which they periodically threw off, remaining practically naked.

Courage on the verge of scandal and at the same time unchanging romance - this, perhaps, is what gave the team millions of fans, many of whom are still crazy about the work of the Nanais.

The first mini-disc "Na-Na" was released in 1989. This album, which was called so - “Group“ Na-Na ”- included only four songs. The album did not gain popularity, however, already in 1991, the renewed team released the first official disc "Na-Na-91", which became the beginning of the group's enchanting success.

In the same year, the "Nanais" presented the first show to the public, called "The Story of a Benefit Performance". Most of all, the audience was shocked by the composition "Eskimo and Papuan", which the singers performed almost naked against the backdrop of dancers dressed in fur coats. The number caused a scandal, and Bari Alibasov rubbed his hands contentedly: the producer achieved his goal - the whole country found out about the team.

The group "Na-Na" began to be invited to national concerts, the first clips and interviews appeared. And already in 1992, the band went on a concert tour around the cities Far East and Siberia.

1992 was the year of the Nanais' triumph. The group released the album "Faina", the song of the same name from which for several years occupied the first lines of all possible charts. 1995 was marked by the appearance of the disc "Na-Nastalgia". The show, which presented new compositions, surpassed the previous concerts of the group. This time the audience was pleased by the Nanais themselves, and invited musicians from Kenya, Bolivia, India, Chukotka, as well as recognized jazz bands and even a symphony orchestra.

It seemed that the fans of the group "Na-Na" could not be surprised by anything, but the team again managed the impossible: at the end of the year, the guys presented another album, called "Flowers". This record is notable for the fact that it was recorded in Thailand, with the assistance of the family of the Thai king Rama IX. The songs are performed in Thai, and the disc itself is supplemented with photos of the band members, printed not just anywhere, but in the royal printing house of the country.

In 1996, the group delighted fans with the albums Night Without Sleep and All Life Is a Game. Unfortunately, the songs from these records did not gain popularity. But next album"Nanai" - the disc "Estimate, yes ?!", Released in 1997, once again reminded the country of who the most popular artists are.

The release of the album was preceded by a many-hour show featuring military equipment, motorcycles and cars. The singers played each composition with true artistry, appearing before the fans either in the form of sailors, or in cowboy costumes, and even in the outfit of astronauts. Together with the artists, illusionists and conjurers appeared on the stage.

In 2001, the group conquered new heights: the musicians were invited to the United States, where the Nanais gave many concerts, took part in the American Music Awards and even performed together with legendary singer.

It seemed that there would be no end to success, however, fate decreed otherwise. 2001 was the year when the first file sharing services appeared. All more people began to use the Internet, albums of musicians began to be posted on the Web, and the world music industry was on the verge of a serious crisis. Some record companies were forced to stop working for a while, some even closed due to bankruptcy.

The crisis did not bypass the Na-Na group either. In 2002, the singers had to return to Russia. Later, Bari Alibasov admits that this period was the most difficult in his career. The producer was even treated by psychiatrists, trying to cope with severe depression and thoughts of suicide. The mood of the "Nanais" was a little better.

However, the musicians managed to cope with the troubles and continue to perform. The peak of popularity was left behind, but the fans continued to happily go to the concerts of idols. For several years, "Na-Na" traveled to all corners of the country, and also visited China and even recorded a new record.
