Putin will take part in the closing of the world festival of youth and students. Closing ceremony of the World Festival of Youth and Students Closing ceremony of the Youth Festival

The World Festival of Youth and Students, which has aroused great interest, is finishing its work in Sochi. Thousands of participants who came from different parts of the world will soon go home. In the meantime, they use every opportunity to learn as much as possible about our country - today they will have a great idea of the diversity of the peoples inhabiting Russia. And the evening will pass solemn ceremony closing and there will be fireworks.

Young musicians from all over the world - Argentina, Italy, China, Russia and other countries. Only eighty people, and although they met only five days ago, they have already played under the guidance of an experienced mentor.

“One day, the net time of our rehearsal reached eight hours, which is a lot. But in fact it turned out - from 9 am to 10 pm with breaks for food. The enthusiasm of these young guys, people from different countries from all over the planet, it mixes and becomes truly international,” says conductor, project manager Airat Kashaev.

"I had to look mutual language with foreign participants, but, as they say, the musicians have one language, and we understand each other quite well and play along. We feel everything very well,” says Tamara Zhukova, a member of the orchestra from Krasnodar.

Creation of an international symphony orchestra during the festival - a new experience. But the responsibility is great reporting concert- right on the main square of the Olympic Park.

And where without sports? It brings together guys from different continents, they understand each other without words. On one of the sites, the results of the flatball championship are summed up, the game was invented a couple of years ago in Russia. There are only two athletes on the field, you can’t go beyond your three-meter square, and the ball is 10 centimeters. It seems like football, but you can’t go to the opponent’s half of the field.

“You must carefully defend your goal. Flatball is perfect. You need endless strength, you need intelligence to use your head, so I hope that flatball, in two years the whole world will know about it,” says Daniel Duro Daini from Nigeria.

The final - and on one of the most beloved and visited venues: the battle of robots. The weight of such a machine is up to 110 kilograms. And each is their own development of the participants, on which the whole team worked. Young roboticists have shown that they are ready for serious projects. Behind the scenes, they grind, tighten, reprogram. The Australian team fielded their red spider to fight.

“This robot is controlled by two people at once from two remotes. One is responsible for the weapons, the other for steering the wheels. There is no one like him here,” says Miles Blow.

“All it takes is passion. This main secret. My rivals are very strong, including those from Russia – they are quickly gaining momentum,” says Igor Duran from Brazil.

The final bout was won by a car driven by Yaroslav Orleansky, a schoolboy from Moscow.

In honor of the large-scale youth forum in the center of the resort, the festival participants and Sochi residents opened a new square - Festival, next to the famous Arboretum. One of the eucalyptus trees was named the Tree of Friendship. It will become a symbol of the unification of all those who found their like-minded people in Sochi - 30 thousand participants, 30 thousand new friends who want to see again.

“The park is very beautiful, very green. Such a vibrant show. I hope to visit this place in a year or two and be sure to visit here again,” says the guest of the festival.

Foreign guests fell in love with Russian motifs - at first they danced, then they could not resist, spinning in a round dance.

Today is the final day of the festival marathon. The theme will be Russia. And in the evening - the solemn closing of the grandiose forum, which lasted only a week, and will leave impressions for a lifetime.

Until the moment when Russia solemnly opens its doors to 20,000 participants from all over the world, there are only a few hours left: International Festival youth and students of Sochi 2017 will begin on October 14, 2017.

According to the organizers, it will be one of the largest in the history of the festival and unique, as it will take place outside the capital, but at the same time it will capture the whole country.

At the conference in the TASS press center, a rich program of events was announced, the purpose of which is to establish mutual understanding between representatives different cultures and religions. During the week, young people from 150 countries of the world will exchange experiences and become imbued with Russian culture.

What is the festival

70 years ago, in the capital of the Czech Republic, for the first time, a congress of leaders of youth organizations with a socialist or communist orientation was organized, and held under the slogan "For Peace and Friendship", to which one more term was later added - "imperialist solidarity". In the 21st century, the organizers of each subsequent event at the preparatory meeting choose a new motto. This year it reads as follows: "For peace, solidarity and social justice, we fight against imperialism - respecting our past, we are building our future!"

For Russia, this is the third festival of youth and students. In 1957, Moscow gathered 34 thousand participants - a record number in history.

It was then that Soviet students got acquainted with rock and roll, jeans and Western values that impressed young people so much. Soviet people that at the subsequent event in 1985, the authorities made every effort to limit the communication of our citizens with foreigners.

In 2017, the organizers tried to think over the plan of the festival events in such a way that young journalists, athletes, engineers, entrepreneurs, representatives creative sphere and programmers, scientists, teachers, as well as leaders of youth organizations and political parties spent time as efficiently and interestingly as possible, exchanging useful experience. Numerous discussions and seminars, concerts, sports competitions, and, of course, large-scale festivities await students.

Sochi - out of competition

In May 2016 in Caracas (Venezuela), the preparatory committee of the festival unanimously approved the decision to hold the 2017 forum in sunny and hospitable Sochi, since after the 2014 Olympics the city has all the necessary infrastructure corresponding to the scope of the event, which will help to significantly save organizational costs. The host party is sure that Sochi will pleasantly surprise the participants and leave an indelible impression in their memory.

Guests will be accommodated in the hotels of the Olympic Village. It will also host concerts, exhibitions and lectures. Concerning sports events, then for their implementation will be used ski resort Rosa Khutor (Mountain Cluster).

Aims and themes of the festival

Event this year aims to consolidate the youth of the whole world, strengthen existing international ties and do everything possible to further development intercultural and interethnic interaction of the participating countries.

The festival is designed to work out the image of the future of people and the world and try to find answers to the most acute challenges facing the representatives of the modern young generation.

Especially for the flash mob at the festival, the song was arranged by the Swedish musician and producer RedOne, who has two Grammy awards in his piggy bank, who has successfully collaborated with a number of world-famous stars (Michael Jackson, Enrique Iglesias, Rod Stewart, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, U2 and others) and wrote the anthem for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Main composition festival sounds in Russian and English and maximally conveys the meaning and ideas of the international forum: the ideals of peace, love, friendship and international solidarity.

The mascot for the festival was chosen through an open international vote, which was attended by about one hundred thousand people. The largest number an unusual trinity gained votes: the robot Romashka, the ferret Shurik and polar bear Mishan. The creator of the latter, Sergey Petrenko, a designer from Volgodonsk, decided that just such a character, dressed in a traditional red blouse and with a flower behind his ear, would be able to fully convey the scale of the holiday and the positive atmosphere that simply cannot be in Sochi.

Volunteers have not been forgotten either - they have their own anthem and great uniforms!

RIGA, October 22 - Sputnik, Alexey Stefanov. Saturday was the last day of the XIX World Festival of Youth and Students. There were very few lectures and discussions, everyone was waiting for the official closing of the event - they were preparing for two concerts in the Olympic Park. But not long before they began, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the festival and took part in a discussion on the topic "Youth 2030. Image of the Future."

Putin: Russia will remain in your heart

The head of Russia sat in the hall with the students, listened to the speeches, and at the end took the floor and said that those who not only have deep knowledge, but also are able to think creatively and work in a team, will achieve success in the future. About what's scarier atomic bomb it can be the creation of a person with given characteristics, because along with a brilliant mathematician or musician, it "may be a military man - a person who will fight without fear, a sense of compassion and regret, without pain." That competitive advantages in the future, those people who not only have a set of interesting and important knowledge, but "creative, planned and other types of thinking" will receive it.

“The future starts here, and the future is you. I am sure that when you leave Russia, you will leave a piece of your heart here. But Russia will always remain in your heart. We believe in you,” Putin concluded.

Russian songs for friends from Africa

In the meantime, the President of Russia was speaking at the Main Media Center, on the open area of "Medals Plaza" began grand show"Russia". The organizers of the concert thought that in the age of social networks, young people quickly perceive information in this format. Therefore, on the huge screens near the stage, between the performances of bands from all over Russia, the correspondence in messengers of the festival participants, photos from Instagram and videos from YouTube were displayed. But this playful interruption was, of course, only part of the show program. The main emphasis was placed on the performance of groups with national flavor from different corners Russia. And to make it easier for foreigners, and Russian youth as well, to find out where this or that ensemble came from in Sochi, the names of cities popped up on the screens one after another, some of them were told in more detail, after which the name of the federal district appeared.

The youth gathered on the square reacted very vividly to these districts and cities - one could even guess in which corner of the Medals Plaza site at that moment there were students from Moscow, Vladikavkaz, Elista, Ryazan or Novosibirsk. And where the foreign youth came from, one could understand either by the state flags, turning into which they walked around the square, or by T-shirts and sweatshirts, on which the names of cities and countries were written. However, at the end of the show, everything was mixed up - the students changed both flags and clothes. Already in the twilight you could easily see a guy in a sweatshirt" Yaroslavl region"surrounded by friends, and coming closer to realize that these are representatives of a distant African country.

Under Russian folk choir named after E. Popov, students from China famously danced, and a large round dance to the performance of the State Academic Kuban Cossack choir squat dances were organized by students from Africa. And, I must say, they danced very masterly.

"Friends, now you know what it's like to live in Russia in the 21st century, enjoy modern technologies. We hope that you will soon see all the corners of our country that we have shown today with your own eyes!" - the voice of the presenter sounded from the speakers, after which he invited all the performers to the stage, and the singer Zara sang the song "My dear country is wide", which was picked up by the audience .

It's been an amazing week

The main show of the World Festival of Youth and Students, which was supposed to be the final chord of the weekly marathon, took place in the next to "Medals Plaza" ice palace"Big". This is where the youth began to flow. When all ten thousand seats were occupied, the audience put on their hands the interactive bracelets already known for their discovery, which synchronously light up, flash to the beat of the music and create the illusion of lighters or flashlights in the dark hall, the countdown began.

At the number "one", the lights of the spotlights highlighted the central podium, on which musicians and singers gathered this time. But not visiting stars, as it was during the opening ceremony, but the participants of the Festival of Youth and Students themselves. For the first time in the history of such events, this Music band formed during the festival. It included talented young people from Russia, China, Argentina, Italy and other countries, and the participants in the first season of the Voice competition, brothers Alexander and Nikita Pozdnyakov, took over the leadership of the orchestra. For a week they rehearsed world rock hits to present their work at the closing of the biggest event of the year.

"We speak in different languages, but we are connected by a common desire to make the world a better place," the host said, after which the speakers who came to Sochi this week began to appear on the screen one after another. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, saxophonist Igor Butman, CEO of the World Fund wildlife(WWF) Marco Lambertini, Russian grandmaster Sergey Karyakin, professional skateboarder Steve Berra, Secretary General of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Fatma Samura, actor Vladimir Menshov… They all said that the festival presented a picture of the world - representatives of different countries and nationalities called lead healthy lifestyle life and go in for sports, strive for a dream, but at the same time live in the present as if it were the most priceless gift, and Vladimir Menshov asked to keep in his soul the impressions of this holiday, as he did 60 years ago, when he spent exactly the same time at the first festival of youth and students, which was held in Russia.

And then the concert began. In the intervals between songs, the presenter spoke about the tradition that was established at the same festival in Moscow in 1957, when young poets read their poems. And then he offered to continue the relay. Then it was Andrei Voznesensky, Bella Akhmadulina and Bob Dylan, and now Artem Novichenkov, Nika Simonova, Veniamin Borisov and others.

A participant from Brazil, Enrique Dominguez, made a heartfelt speech in which he expressed gratitude to the organizers and volunteers of the festival. "It was an amazing week. Here in Sochi, I felt the power of millions of people who live and unite their efforts. I have no doubt that new world will be built by the hands of the youth. Nothing ends for us, but only begins. Let's build our lives together!" he urged.

The head of the Directorate for the preparation and holding of the WFYS, Ksenia Razuvaeva, also thanked the volunteers, who noted that the volunteer team of the festival has become "the largest team of volunteers of all non-sporting events throughout the history of the volunteer movement". In their blue uniforms, the volunteers stood at the foot of the stage at the closing ceremony of the festival, dancing and urging the audience to make a live wave in the stands.

In Russia, they don't hug bears.

One of touching moments the show was the performance of the participant of the festival, professional musician from Chad Ndolegulom Jasrabe Herve. He told the story of his poor family, the desire to grow up and help parents and all the children of Chad, which is why he chose this profession, and also about the young people of the country who have practically no opportunity to access the Internet, about the feeling of loneliness and isolation from the rest of the world. Even the disc with his song, before he got to the festival, Hervé had to pass through several friends so that he could get to Moscow. "We are scattered around the world, but we are united and can solve our problems together. Hello, Russia!" - this is his perky song on mother tongue and became the unofficial anthem of the festival. And the composition was chosen as the official anthem Russian musician, actor and director Alexei Vorobyov.

During the appearance of the UN Volunteer on the stage and the speech in which she spoke that she had come to Sochi to become one of the five thousand volunteers, some conversations swept through the hall, the audience began to turn around and peer into the figure of the man who appeared on the VIP -tribune near the dome. It turned out that Vladimir Zhirinovsky came to see the closing of the festival, although at first it looked like he had flown to Sochi to show himself - he stood for a long time and waved his hands to everyone. And even the volunteers at the stage answered him in the same way. Because of this, the performance of the foreign participant turned out to be a little blurry. However, with the first chords of the next hit, they forgot about the politician.

It was interesting to listen and short interviews with participants from European, Asian and African countries displayed on the screens. The delegates were sincerely surprised that in Russia "there are no stern healthy men in earflaps" who "walk in an embrace with polar bears", that everywhere is not gloomy and dirty, but clean and cultured, and that the Hollywood idea of Russians is completely untrue. .

And the concert ended with the song "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen, the audience began to leave the ice arena with sadness, but another small surprise awaited them on the street. On open stage"Medals Plaza" hosted another concert-disco, which ended at midnight with a grandiose fireworks display.
