Acquaintance - important stage relationships between people. It is often said that already at the first meeting one can draw many conclusions about what a given person is like. In this article we will look at several options on how you can talk about yourself with humor.

Performance

Every normal acquaintance begins with an introduction. However, simply saying: “Hello, I’m Anya (Petya, Sasha)” is not particularly interesting or original. So, you can try more skillfully. The first option is a poetic form. Here you need to choose a rhyme for your own name and use it if you need to introduce yourself. As an option - Tanya the Jumper (if the person is Natasha - your joy (if the person radiates positivity) and so on. However, this phrase should be at least a little true. By the same principle, you can recommend yourself in prose, simply by adding something to your name - something characteristic that determines a person’s personality. This is if you need to tell a short story about yourself with humor. So, for example, you can tell about your profession: “Hello, I’m Sasha, I like to torture children” (if you are a teacher). It should be noted that even if Such an acquaintance will not end in friendship, it will definitely be remembered by the person forever.

A little bit about yourself

If the acquaintance is not limited to introducing people, but continues in a warm, friendly atmosphere, you can just as cheerfully talk about yourself. So, this does not always have to be true. Why not just try to make those around you laugh by getting a little creative? So, you can come up with a story about yourself that will be similar to the truth, and in this way amuse the company. However, it is original to tell the truth about yourself with humor. Interesting phrases that will help with this: “I was born secretly from my parents...”, “My childhood was just wonderful, who doesn’t like to twist the tails of cows?” etc. The main thing in this matter is to look at people’s reactions, because such an attitude towards the company may not always please everyone present. In a joking tone, you can simply say a couple of phrases or even make up a whole story and tell it to others.

Nuances

You can tell a lot about yourself with humor. So, for example, why not talk about your hobby? A very funny phrase: “My hobby is abnormal squint.” It seems that the person answered the question, but try to understand what he wanted to say. Using the same principle, you can answer: “I love music. Favorite singer - Lenin." And the people will laugh, and the new comrade will be remembered for a long time. It must be said that there can be a huge number of such little things. About favorite things - “I love playing stripped snowballs”, about my position in life - “I believe in all the colors of the rainbow”, etc.

Appearance

What else can you tell about yourself with humor? So, why not describe your appearance in a funny way? This is suitable if a person meets blindly: via the Internet or by phone. You can highlight your special features and present them in a fun way. For example, if you are too tall or short, promise the person to grow or shrink. In the event that someone has large ears, we can say that this is in order to better hear others (as in the fairy tale “Little Red Riding Hood”), etc. It is important to just show your imagination and not be afraid to make a little joke on yourself.

Achievements

What else can a girl tell about herself with humor? For example, if she can drive a car, we can say that she can do it better than a monkey with a grenade ( we're talking about about a saying that everyone knows). Using the same principle, it’s easy to highlight your achievements. After all, such information is very important for some people, and few people want to immediately reveal all their cards at the first meeting. You can try to joke about this topic. For example, to say that life, like everyone else’s, is a striped zebra, there are both eases and difficulties. If we talk about work or study, you can dream up something (“I’m the president of a big international bank” or “I am a secret security agent”) and present everything with a serious look.

Flaws

Telling a little about yourself with humor, why not dwell on your shortcomings? So, we can say that they are all already lined up for correction, but they won’t wait yet. At the same time, you need to smile meaningfully. This will be, as they say, “on topic.” When looking at something individually, why not note the most common characteristics? You can have fun talking about your laziness (especially if the person is a workaholic) or gluttony (this story will be especially fun coming from the lips of a lady weighing 50 kg).

Questionnaire

Very often today, if a person wants to register on a certain site, he must fill out a short questionnaire. In such a situation, you can also joke. A questionnaire can be a little fun or even funny. It’s easy to talk about yourself with humor here too. However, you must first think about whether the person will be understood correctly, because you can’t always joke. So, for example, if you register on a dating site, you only need to hint at what is inherent. After all, a completely humorous questionnaire may be taken by potential gentlemen or brides simply as mockery, and the real goal - to find your soul mate - will, alas, not be achieved. However, a person who can laugh at himself or make others smile is always liked by people, because such people are often easy and simple to communicate with. Without restrictions, you can fill out small annotations about yourself with humor on various sites of interest, where real information is not of great importance.

Basic Rules

Before you tell something about yourself with a bit of humor, you need to learn a few simple rules. The first of them: you can, and even need to, speak the truth, not always. In such a situation, lying is a nice thing. Why not, the main thing is that the interlocutor has fun. Next tip: you need to know where and with whom you can joke. Talk about yourself with humor during an interview for a serious position in big company- the height of frivolity. In addition, such a person will most likely be treated as a clown and tactfully asked to leave. You can joke at parties, with people in your circle and with friends. However, it should be remembered that uncomfortable situations happen here too. So, the following rule emerges from this: look at the reaction of the interlocutor. If a person decides to talk about himself in a cheerful tone, he needs to start with something light and simple. And look at the reaction of others. If the joke went well, you can continue in the same spirit. If not, then it’s better to leave this idea; the company, most likely, got caught more seriously than expected. What else do you need to remember? So, you should not openly ridicule your own or others' shortcomings. Few people like this, and it reveals a person who is not particularly confident in himself and is trying to hide behind such behavior. Humor should be light, but not mocking. And, probably, one of the main rules: speak in beautiful, clear speech, do not use or. Such behavior will reveal a person of a low level of culture and general development, and few people will like this.

What to talk about and what to avoid?

It is also important to know what to talk about when you first meet, and what it is better to keep silent about and not joke about. So, you can tell everything about yourself and your life, even starting from childhood. Moreover, such stories will be really funny, because while a person is young at heart, a lot of interesting, unforgettable and simply funny events and situations happen to him. You can also tell a lot about your immediate environment. But what you shouldn’t talk about even in a joking tone is the secrets of loved ones. There is no need to stoop to the level of " yellow press" It is better to remain silent about this. This will most likely be interesting to those around you, but later it will leave an unpleasant “aftertaste” about the person. Women also have to hide something. You can tell a lot about yourself with humor, but at first, it’s best to keep silent about the intimate side of life. It is advisable not to admit this even as a joke. By the way, this also applies to men, because it is better if a person’s personal life remains private and does not become public knowledge. And people who immediately reveal all their cards will seem simply frivolous to most.

Previously, it was planned to continue writing point by point and describe each one: how to write, what to write, but I think this is no longer necessary, if only because you understood the meaning:

You need to put not only your soul, but also meaning into what you write.

Therefore, let's go back to the beginning and remember the three types of working descriptions:

Descriptions of the atmosphere
Character Descriptions
Descriptions of the character's inner world

The most important thing about descriptions.

Atmospheric descriptions require descriptions of locations according to plot and character. No need for unnecessary words. Only actions, character development, emotions.

Character descriptions require a painstaking approach to personality. Don't pull everything out of thin air. Everything about the character should be organic. A calm person will not wear everything bright and colorful, and if he does, this should be explained by the author. Start from psychology, and not just your desire to create an unusual image. Pay attention not to the clothes themselves, but to the manner of dressing, not to the color of the hair, but to how they are styled, how well-groomed, not to the eyes, but to the look. And most importantly, don’t forget about distinctive features, which will fully characterize your character or stand out from the crowd. Neck tattoo, freckles, dimples, protruding ears, black bottomless eyes, slitted eyes, toad mouth, tall or short stature, physique, long arms, etc.

Description of the inner world. The most important thing is to enter into the character’s situation and evaluate everything adequately, based on the canon that you have outlined for yourself. Show your acting skills and live your character, then you will understand his actions and actions. This means his thoughts will be revealed to you. Don't go too deep into philosophy. If you want to reveal it, do it through the character’s actions. In the end, I don’t think that there are only Dostoevskys among us.

From different people.

1. “I entered a stuffy apartment. Already at the threshold an unpleasant picture began. The old striped wallpaper had dirty, sticky streaks, and numerous cobwebs rounded the corners of the ceiling. Something fragile broke in the other room and a black creature ran between my legs with a hoarse squeal. Rat".

2. “I only saw her twice. The first time was at a carnival whose name I don't remember. Some clown with a brightly painted face and a huge red bow around his neck was handing out boxes with multi-colored scented candles to the children; she took raspberry ones. Bright freckles on her face, a wide smile and hair so lush and wavy. Previously, I would not have paid attention to her, but that day I was captivated by her smile. Her dimples. I don’t even remember what she was wearing, but I definitely liked it.”

3. “Lily was amazing today. Her timid step and gentle hand, which lay like a feather on my shoulder, made my heart flutter and my eyes roll back with pleasure. My eyelids closed and my lips stretched into a smile, I think I look ridiculous in front of her. But how wonderful this feeling is, the smell of camellias woven into her hair, I can’t control myself. I will put my hand on her winged shoulder blade, catch the beat, and we will float in a waltz. Grand piano, Chopin. I'll probably never be this happy again."

And now in third person:

1. “The stuffy apartment that Kyle entered was immersed in a gray twilight. Motes of dust played in the dim rays of light that penetrated through the cloudy windows. Kyle wanted to sneeze, but closing his mouth, he only let out an incomprehensible sob, which was drowned out by the rattling sound from the kitchen. Kyle ran towards the sound, hitting a chest of drawers blackened with dust along the way and earning a long stain on his shirt. It was just a rat that knocked a vase off the table and it shattered into small pieces when it collided with the ceramic granite.”

2. “Grab met her only once and fell in love at that moment. The noisy carnival, which took place in the square, not far from his house, left behind only two images: an unpleasant colorful clown with a frog-like red mouth and a girl with ridiculous sunny freckles on her snub nose. But how bright her smile was. Those playful dimples on her thin cheeks, those wavy hair that lay carelessly on her tanned shoulders. And he will forever remember the smell of the raspberry candles that she bought from that unpleasant clown.”

3. “Breath did not listen to Ein, it lived separately from him or went on strike, however, he did not have time to negotiate with him, even if it threatened his life. If he didn’t approach her now, then his life would still be wasted. And now he invites her to dance, bowing gallantly and smiling charmingly, as he did with any other girls. Heartbreaker. But she is special to him, different. Muse. She agreed, placing her hand on his, but he didn't even straighten up, allowing her to take the initiative.
- You can not do it this way! – she screams and laughs. And her laughter is like a bow that is trying to break the heart that groans inside Ein. And she still takes the initiative and places her small hand on Ein’s shoulder. He suffers from the short pleasure of being with her.”

Here I presented to you my sketches from works that are based in my head, but have not yet been presented on paper, even virtual. Probably, I myself still don’t know what kind of plot was sitting in my head, yes, and when I started writing each new description, I vaguely imagined the picture... Did you take me at my word?

Inspiration.

Let's talk about inspiration, which many people think is beyond our control. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the chance to have enough free time to wait for inspiration and be ready to continue my work at any moment. That's why I have to subdue him.

Many people have an idea, a plot, but they can’t write exactly the small filling moments, so we try and learn.

In fact, inspiration is a very controlled thing, just like emotions. To write interesting description, which will also be alive, you should start writing, even if nothing comes to mind.

Now you know what should happen to your character in the plot, but you just can’t write it. There is not enough life and environment.
Let's take an example situation: some detective John is called to work in the morning. How to describe it?

1. Write the first thing that comes to mind, even if it’s just the word “hat.” Everything will flow from there. “The hat lay well on the nightstand, in the sun. The only pity is that it was quickly torn from its place and placed on the owner’s greasy head. John didn't even have time to wash his face again. Another challenge." That says it all. Both the call and the morning, everything is in place and seems to be dynamic, and it is not necessary to write about alarm clocks or the rays of the sun. Even “morning” itself does not need to be mentioned.
“Well, the first word that came to my mind was, what should I do with it next?” - you thought, it means it’s not leaking. It’s okay if this method didn’t work, let’s move on.

2. Imagine yourself in the situation as an observer. You know, as an author, that your character should now wake up and run out of the house, but again you don’t know how to describe this in an interesting and dynamic way.
Imagine. You are now in your character's house. Look where everything is, scattered or put away, what color the walls are, what spaces there are. What the character uses constantly, for example, hand cream. Why? Well, the work is hard, your hands get chapped, chapped, and dry. Yeah, new information about the character for the author. And then the character wakes up, what does he do first? He's stretching, doing exercises, but most likely not, he's shaving, oops, he cut himself again - he's in a hurry to get somewhere. He cut himself, which means he’s now angry, puts on his coat, and goes down the narrow (!) old stairs. The old elevator has not been working for a long time.
It's clear? It’s just that often in our subconscious we know the character and his actions better than when we try to invent them out of thin air. Once you imagine the event, it will be easier for you to describe it. Just be a witness and write down what you see.

About dynamics.

Much has been said about it here, so I have no doubt that you suspect its importance. To write interesting descriptions remember:
1. While your hero is acting, the world does not stand still. The world is moving. Somewhere something falls, someone is playing football, a car drives by.
2. Your hero is always influenced by some forces. Elementary - the wind.
3. There is always something in the way of your hero: bangs, bright light, shoes chafing, knee pain, someone’s laughter, voice annoying.
4. People always have some habits. Walk slowly, tuck your hair behind your ear, bite your nails, twirl a lock of hair around your finger, hum tunes you made up on the go.

A little more colorful.

A colorful and interesting description, of course, is not only the dynamics and environment, but also the mode of action. Therefore, let us ask ourselves the question not only: “what did you do?”, “What was around?”, but also “how was it?” The first thing that should have appeared in your head: an adverb. It is this, alas, that answers the question “how?” But any writer knows that adverbs are insidious enemies. The point is that they are actually empty. How to write: “ran quickly”, you can write simply “ran” or for added color “rushed”, “ran headlong”. “Listen attentively” - “listened”, “listened”, “kept my ear to the ground”, “listened attentively”. In such cases, I use synonym dictionaries. You enrich your speech and make your creativity more colorful.
Of course, comparisons, preferably your own, are very important in such cases. The more unusual and brighter they are, the better.
“He rushed down the corridor alone like a herd of deer.”
“The heart skipped a beat and did a triple somersault” is not quite a comparison, but a vivid description of the mode of action. “It was like doing a triple somersault.”
“His eyes sparkled so much that they could have been made into jewelry.”

Out of place.

It is very important to write so that every word is appropriate.
1. If in historical novel a technical term will slip through, the text will lose its harmony.
2. If you write too many comparisons, it will become pretentious.
3. If you write in too complex words, it will be abstruse.
4. If you make sudden insertions about the philosophy of ancient times (and not only) in the middle of a work, when simple relationships between a man and a woman (and not only) are described, the reader will feel that the author considers him an idiot who has not read textbooks and now wants help him catch up.
Do this only if it somehow affects the plot, and at the same time it is spoken from the words of the character, and not from the author. And then try to ensure that the information is either not very abstruse (preferably primitive) or unique.
As one writer said: “It is important that the reader understands clearly at all times what is being said.”
5. Avoid overly long sentences. Eat famous writers, who can stretch one sentence to the entire page, but these are the only ones who know what they are doing and how they are doing it. At the same time, they are explained very simply, in a language understandable to almost any reader. And in our country, people with complex words are usually the same as people with long sentences. What's the point? Leo Tolstoy wrote richly and beautifully, but it was clear what he was talking about. Apparently, these authors are copying Lomonosov.
6. Lengthy descriptions before the action, even very interesting ones, tire. Do not overdo it.

And one more secret.

And one more thing that is unlikely to have ever been mentioned in other articles. At least I haven't met one yet.
In general, everything that I wrote was not invented by me, and neither did what I will write about next.
Each person has five systems of perception: vision, hearing, touch, taste, smell.
Have you ever noticed that some descriptions, even good ones, are difficult to read? And those that are read with pleasure?
All people have one favorite system. For example, the author whose vision prevails will write like this:
“The sun was at its zenith. The bright green fence contrasted with the notice printed on red paper. "CIRCUS" - it was written in bold letters.
And everything would be fine, some liked it, but others found these three proposals alien and unpleasant. Why? Because everything here is written only for the reader with a predominant system of perception - vision, like the author.
“The anticipation of a still unprepared breakfast was in the air. The boys, with a menthol taste on their tongues from toothpaste, were already going down to the kitchen. One of them, standing on a stool, opened the window. Freshness has crept into the house.”
Someone who lives in a system where smell and taste prevail would write something like this.
But our readers are different! And with different perception systems. Some like this, some like that. Therefore, to capture the reader from the first lines, try to capture all systems. Let readers see, hear, touch and taste.

And with this I will finish my work. Yes, it was written as if by different people, and unstructured in general, but the main thing is that it benefits you. Thank you for your attention. With love, your under-literary POV. Incognita.

We have prepared several tips and recommendations for you, following which you can easily increase your sales on any photo bank, including ours.

For a stock photographer good shot- this is only half the success. For a photograph to sell well on stocks, it must be described correctly. Otherwise, even the most successful photo will simply be lost in the database, and no one will ever see it.

It’s not difficult to describe stock photos; it’s much more difficult to find time for this tedious work. But as motivation, just think about how nice it will be to see your photos selling, which, if you do everything right, will not keep you waiting.

The average potential client will not enter overly complex queries into the search bar like “mind-blowing model, 192 cm, 22 years old, standing all beautiful and posing.” He will ask at most about hair color, background and dress length. Be as specific as possible is your mantra from now on.

Try looking for something on the photo bank yourself. Imagine that you need a photo of nature for your desktop or a beautiful pattern to print on a T-shirt. Imagine the picture you want to find, formulate a query and look at the search results. When you find exactly the picture you imagined, look at its title - does it reflect the essence of the picture? Do this several times to better understand how customers think.

Name

Coming up with a name is the most creative part of this monotonous task. The title of the image should reflect the idea you want to convey through your work. This is your subjective opinion. Think about the circumstances in which this or that picture can be used, and tell this to buyers. The optimal volume of a title is from three to seven words, not counting articles and prepositions. There is no need to indicate the street, much less the exact address of the shooting, but indicate a landmark if it is in the photo, or a city if it is recognizable. There is no need to write an essay in three sentences. Brevity is the soul of wit.

Successful examples: Grandiose plans // Pipe dreams of a bicycle // Girl on the edge of the world //

Attributes (keywords)

Your goal is to describe the image as specifically and truthfully as possible. The most effective number of keywords is from 10 to 35. Experience shows that correctly described images are more likely to find their buyer. Start with objects, list who or what is depicted, use nouns (synonyms), numerals and words describing quantity (group, crowd, class, team), names of professions or occupations, gender, age, social status, if appropriate. It wouldn’t hurt to add belonging to an ethnic group.

Don't describe parts of the whole. If the photograph shows a family with two children, then you should not list the father, mother, son and daughter. Don't write what is not in the picture. Don't write words that contradict each other.

You shouldn’t invent something that doesn’t exist: for example, a pen cannot be sad, smart or disappointed.

Let's move on to the circumstances: how objects are depicted. Describe the background, poses, color effects. Indicate whether the shot was taken indoors or outdoors, morning, afternoon, evening, sunset, if appropriate, mention the time of year. If the photo was taken with interesting lighting or an unusual angle, write about it. Tell what's happening in the photo, don't avoid verbs. If there is a person present, then write whether he is standing, lying, running, looking, or crying, laughing, screaming. You can describe the direction of view - into the camera, up, down, to the side, etc. And also describe the size of the depicted object: full-length, waist-length, head portrait, separate part body, whole, macro photography.

Let's evaluate, don't forget about adjectives. Try to use negative descriptions more often - 90% of stock photos express positive emotions, stand out!

Don't try too hard where it doesn't make sense. Remember that a pen is unlikely to be sad, adorable, smart, or disappointed. Also, it cannot be a ruler, a stapler, or all office supplies at once. Don't create a non-existent context for the clipart, but include the word "isolated." “Noise” in the search results only irritates buyers.

No tricks

Remember that by adding everything to your keywords, you are preventing the buyer from finding the image they are looking for. In addition, your images do not match the search query and, as a result, end up at the bottom of the search results. Less is better, but to the point.

Description of vector graphics

The favorite word of all authors is abstract. In second place is grunge. On the third - bokeh. What are the chances of a client finding your masterpiece (and we're sure you create masterpieces) among 300,000 abstract grunge backgrounds with bokeh elements? Agree, they are minimal.

Tips for describing vectors are similar to describing photographs, but there are some nuances. The name can be more specific when it comes to backgrounds, patterns, and layouts. When a vector represents a plot drawing, a series of objects, a website layout, or something more or less specific, it is not difficult to describe it. But what if you drew a background, a pattern, or allowed your imagination to flow into a drawing in any form? Get to grips with the details. Indicate the style of the drawing, its type, everything that is depicted on it, the predominant color, the contrasting color, the presence of halftones, gradients, effects and possible areas of application.

Description: Pattern, seamless pattern, pattern, elegant, old fashioned, retro, retro style, vector, ornament, design, texture, flowers, colors, backdrop, element, pattern, repeat, wallpaper, paper, fabric, plants, victorian revival, floral, lilac, blue, yellow, large flowers.

Successful sales on photo banks depend not only on your unique style, quality photographs and a rich portfolio. Description of photos is an incredibly important part, neglecting which will lead to the fact that despite the quality, your works will not sell - they will simply get lost among millions of other images. Don't let your work go to waste, describe it correctly!

The famous Kizhi Pogost consists of the Transfiguration and Intercession churches, between which a bell tower is built. The churches were erected in the 18th-19th centuries.

The Transfiguration Church is famous for the fact that it was built entirely of wood without a single nail and with only an ax. Its founder was the carpenter Nestor, who, after completion, threw his ax into the river so that no one could copy his creation.

But still, this 37-meter-high church has nails in the domes.

In 1993, Kizhi was named one of the particularly significant monuments of Russia's developed heritage. We wrote in more detail about the Kizhi Pogost.

The next holy place is Optina Pustyn, which was named after the repentant chieftain of the bandits - Opta (Makarius in monasticism).

The monastery consists of the Vvedensky Cathedral, from which the churches of Mary of Egypt, Kazan and Vladimir stand in a cross shape. This monastery was created in the 14th century and is famous for the history of the service of the elders, the founder of which was Archbishop Leonid. To this day, many believers come to touch the relics of Elder Ambrose.

In 1931, a rest house named after Gorky was opened on the territory of the Optina Monastery. In November 1939, after the partition of Poland, by order of Lavrentiy Beria, the NKVD of the USSR transformed the rest house into the Kozelsk-1 concentration camp, where about 5,000 Polish officers were housed, approx. 4,400 of them were later sent to Katyn to be shot.

During the Great Patriotic War, on the territory of the Optina Pustyn there was first a hospital, in 1944-1945 a testing and filtration camp of the NKVD of the USSR for Soviet officers returning from captivity, and after the war, until 1949, a military unit was located.

The convent in Diveevo, which was founded in the 2nd half of the 18th century, is also worth a visit. This monastery is under the patronage of the Blessed Virgin Mary. According to legend, she appeared to the saint and pointed to the place where the church should be built. The first was Kazan, then the Church of the Nativity of Christ and the Nativity of the Virgin.

In the middle of the monastery, the Trinity Cathedral was erected, which is the main chapel. It is in this temple that the relics of Father Seraphim and his remaining belongings are kept to this day. This is interesting:

— The Pskov-Pechersky Monastery is one of the largest and most famous monasteries in Russia with a centuries-old history. The name of the monastery is associated with the caves located in it (in Old Russian - pechora), called “God-created” (that is, created by God).

— The monastery has never been closed in its entire history. During the interwar period (from February 1920 to January 1945) it was located within Estonia, thanks to which it was not affected by the anti-church and anti-religious measures of the Soviet government.

— Representatives of the ancient Simansky family, from which the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Alexy I came, are buried in the caves. Among the laity in the caves are buried the ancestors of A. S. Pushkin, M. I. Kutuzov, M. P. Mussorgsky, A. N. Pleshcheev, V. N. Tatishcheva and others.

— Nowadays, lay people are not buried in caves; monks are buried on fifth and sixth streets. They are buried in coffins placed in the walls of caves, without covering them with earth. At the same time, in the caves there is no smell of decaying bodies of the deceased. The total number of burials is about 10 thousand people.

— In 1993, the architectural ensemble of the Lavra was included in the List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Russia.

No. 7. Nilova Pustyn

Coast of Lake Seliger, Tver region

Nilo-Stolobenskaya desert. Photo source: kuzma-prutkoff.livejournal.com

Last, but not least, is the Nilova Hermitage. The history of this place dates back to the beginning of the 16th century, the founder is Reverend Neil. According to legend, when robbers attacked his cell, Nile came out with an icon of the Most Holy Theotokos. Having begun to read the prayer, it seemed to the robbers that he was surrounded by a large number of armed people, and then, in fear, they knelt down in front of the Nile and began to beg for forgiveness.

After his death, the Nilo-Stolobensky Monastery was erected on Stolobny Island, where he lived for his last 27 years. At the present time, the monastery consists of the Epiphany Cathedral (the remains of St. Nile are buried), the Holy Cross and All Saints churches, the Church of St. John and the Intercession of the Virgin.

This is interesting:

During the years of Soviet power, the Nilo-Stolbenskaya hermitage managed to “transform” into:

1927-1939 - labor commune, colony for juvenile delinquents;
1939-1940 - camp for Polish prisoners of war;
1941-1945 - hospital;
1945-1960 - again a colony;
1960-1971 - nursing home;
1971-1990 - tourist center.

In 1990, the complex of the Nilo-Stolobenskaya desert was transferred to the Russian Orthodox Church. In 1995, the relics of St. Neil were returned to the monastery.

During archaeological excavations on the territory of the monastery, it was established that in the 18th century the largest workshop at that time for the production of pectoral crosses operated here.

In Soviet times, the remains of Leonty Magnitsky, the author of the first Russian textbook on arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry and the rudiments of algebra, a scientist and ally of Peter I, were transferred to the Nilova Hermitage.

You should go to monasteries with a pure heart and soul, and spend at least a day in each of these places.
